Chapter 19: The Key

When the rest of the household was awake, it was to realise Primrose was gone

"Tony, any luck with tracking her?" Zac asked whilst holding back his anger

"I can't see anything or feel her presence, I'm being blocked off...but I'll keep trying" Antonio said whilst leaving the room

"Great, of all times , now!" Zac said letting his rage go a bit

"Calm down Zac, it's not Tony's fault" Haley said

Zac nodded and took a breath

About an hour later, Antonio got it

"Thanks Tony" Phillip said

He then looked at Zac, who nodded his thanks before apparating

Primrose was hesitant as she waited outside the doorway of the address she was given. It was a 24 hour diner. Clara then stood beside her, "I'm glad you called"

"I'm glad you came" Primrose smiled

They then walked inside together and found a booth away from everyone else right at the back. Primrose told her everything that happened and why she was doing this, as they waited

A few moments later, Zac walked into the restaurant, the bell on the door made a noise and both Primrose and Clara watched him, a mixture of fear and anger in their eyes

He walked to their table, "What do you two think you're doing?" Zac asked

"Zac... Please, you have to go, it won't work if you're here" Primrose begged

"What won't work?"

"I need to hand myself over to Orlando. This is all my fault. I betrayed him and them and I knew the consequences... People are dying.. He wants me Zac"

"This isn't just about you betraying them" Zac said, trying his best to stay calm as he took a seat across them

"I'm not leaving. But you need to..." Primrose said, her best attempt at being firm with him

"Primrose... Don't test me"

"Zac, please..." Clara started, but a look from Zac silenced her just as quickly

The bell made a noise again and two of the guys entered the diner. The third remained outside, trying to call someone by the looks of it. They walked up to the booth and sat next to Zac, completely ignoring the looks the got from him

"What do you want?" Zac asked

"The girl, she's here to meet us. I don't remember you being invited... Or her for that matter" one guy said whilst gesturing at Zac and then Clara

"She's not going anywhere with you" Zac said

Primrose looked outside and noticed the third guy was now missing. She frowned

"You work for Orlando?" Zac asked

The bell made a noise once more, but no one cared to look

"Yeah, we do. Orlando promised us whatever we want if we get the girl"

"And you two believed him?" Zac asked

"Look, our boy outside is calling him right now. We don't have time for all your questions"

Zac looked outside and didn't see anyone, "Where's your guy?"

The two guys looked outside then at each other, one of them took out their phone
