“You might actually like it” Kristen said to Primrose as they walked together

“I just don’t feel up to it Kris”

“A distraction is exactly what you need and I can guarantee that history lectures will give you just that”

Primrose finally agreed and they made their way to the lecture hall. There weren’t that many students in this lecture so everyone was seated towards the front of the lecture hall

Tina watched Primrose and Kristen take their seats two rows in front of her. The professor was already at his desk talking to a student. When he was done, he closed the doors, grabbed a packet of sweets from his desk and faced everyone

“Morning students, today we are going to be looking at the Greeks”

A few students looked excited

“Now, there are many aspects to cover with the Greeks, but I have decided to test you on only one aspect and yes, I chose the longest one” the professor grinned

A few moans and groans were heard

Oh calm down, it also happens to be the best aspect…so can anyone guess what it is?”

“Cheeses” a boy called out

“Not quite Matthew, I doubt anyone here is interested in that…other than yourself of course, but in any case, here you go” the professor said whilst tossing him a sweet

“The section we are focusing on is the Greek Gods”

The learners then clapped out of excitement and cheered

“Now you can either consider yourselves unlucky because it is the longest section and if you miss one detail- you’re going to be in trouble! Or you could consider yourselves very lucky, because this section is the most interesting and you will therefore find it easy to ace!”

“Awesome choice prof!” a girl said

“Flattering me to get sweets won’t work you know” the professor smiled then tossed her a sweet

“Let’s talk about the Greek Gods! They’re awesome!” another boy called out

“What can you tell me about the Greek Gods?” the professor asked

“They’re Gods, what more can be said? They’re cool and powerful and…” a boy started but was interrupted

“They’re dead!” Tina said whilst doodling

Everyone looked at her stunned, even the professor, “Why do you say that?”

Tina looked up and met the gaze of the professor, “I'm not saying they’re like dead-dead, just that when the world needs them, they’re never there, it just seems like they’ve turned their backs on us, that’s all”

“Okay, well-that’s your opinion and nobody will judge…Now, would anyone else like to share their opinion?”

“Prof, let’s talk about the big three” a girl suggested

“You mean from our school, or from the Greek Gods?” the boy named Matthew asked

“I don’t’ have a problem with either” the girl responded with a laugh

“Well, the big three consist of Zeus-God of the skies, Poseidon-God of seas and Hades-God of the underworld” the professor stated

“Why is it that Zeus is the God of Gods? Is it because he is God of the skies?” a girl asked

“I'm not sure, but many say that it is because he is very wise and merciful…then again, maybe he was the luckiest to win the right to rule over everyone” the professor shrugged
