Chapter 9: The Storm Is Here

Zac and Henry were walking towards the auditorium, “I still don’t trust them!” Zac said

“You let them off the hook”

“With a warning!”

“So, what do you want me to do?”

“Nothing too demanding, I just want you to keep an eye on them- and if you notice anything suspicious, sort it out, at your own discretion”

“You mean do your dirty work?” Henry smiled

Zac then opened the doors of the auditorium and joined the rest of the student council, “As if you’d say no to an offer like that” Zac said whilst returning the smile

As soon as everyone was settled, Havier spoke, “Can we get straight to it…what about our powers?”

“Soon enough Havier- as for now, we need to keep an eye on the Titans…and this story of ours needs to be the same, we can’t let it spread to anyone else or have the humans think any more of it…” Zac said

“But they’ve been compelled haven’t they?” Danielle asked

“They have, but the last time Primrose seemed to be able to fight bits of it and it only worked by doing it twice for her…”

“But she was compelled twice again wasn’t she?” Antonio asked

Zac nodded, “H compelled her first and then I did but it’s still risky so we have to be ready for anything”

They all nodded their agreement and left

“So, how strong were they?” Havier asked Henry whilst walking through one of the courtyards

“They’re pathetic” Henry snickered

“H- wait up!” Annabelle called out

“Where are you heading?” Henry asked

“Right now, wherever you two are” Annabelle smiled

The three of them arrived at the academy café, there were a bunch of people there who greeted them in turn. The three noticed Primrose and Dante’ as well

“Hey Henry” Dante’ called out to Henry

Henry nodded a greeting whilst pulling out a chair for Annabelle

“I’m going to grab some food, you two want anything?” Havier asked

“I’m good” Henry smiled

“Can I just get a lemonade?” Annabelle asked whilst fanning herself

“Coming right up” Havier excused himself

“Hey Henry…I wanted to ask you…is Havier a business student?” Dante’ asked whilst approaching the table they sat at

Annabelle glanced at him and smiled

“Shouldn’t you be asking Havier that?” Henry asked

Dante’ scratched his head and laughed awkwardly

“Yes he is” Henry finally said

“Any chance I can still join a business science club?”

Annabelle laughed, “You can join a club whenever you want to Dante’, you might miss out on some stuff, but you can always catch up”
