A New Paige

Just A Valet

ROMAN:

Paige was down and out and that means I'm the only remaining member of the SHIELD who actually gave a damn. Seth curb stomped Dean into a pile of cinder blocks and Dean has been MIA. Seth bashed his head into Paige's, causing her to leave. She came back but now she's gone again. And at Night of Champions, I will destroy that puny, two-toned sell-out.

I walk into that ring, facing off against Randy Orton. The other sell-out.

"This is a one fall match." The bell signals and we circle each other, eyeing each other up like predators.

Randy runs at me and I quickly dodge his attack, sending him into the turnbuckles. I jump on the second ropes and begin beating Randy's face with my fists. Randy pushes me backwards and I land hard.

I get up quickly, knowing that staying down for too long could only make things worse.

I send Randy through the ropes and into the barricades. I jump out of the ring and grab Randy by the neck. He claws at my hands but I don't release him. Instead, I send him flying into the post face first and then smash his head off the steel steps. He lay there for a bit until I roll him into the ring. I follow him and am met with a big boot to the face. I lay there for a bit and then get up. Randy prepares for the RKO but I quickly dodge it. I bounce off the ropes and into a spear, ending the match.

I grab the mic from the ring announcer and speak into it.

"Believe that!" and then I walk up the ramp and behind the gorilla.

Seth was waiting for me beside my locker room, a serious look on his face.

"Seth, what's wrong?"

"It's Paige. Doctors saying she'll be fine as long as she's out of the business for a month which means she'll have to find someone to substitute for her for each of her matches which means that this whole Paige vs AJ thing is gonna go down the drain."

"And what about the part when she joins up with you?"

"Stephanie hasn't said anything about it but I'm pretty sure Paige will just show up and be a valet until she's better."

"You and I both know that's not how Paige works. She is a fighter and she will fight at every opportunity she gets."

"Until it threatens my career." We turn around, shocked to see Paige standing behind us. I pull her into a hug and just hold her, glad that she was ok.

I pull away and give her a kiss on the forehead and then it was Seth's turn to pull her in for a hug. A kiss on the forehead as well and then we notice Randy, bandaged from the beating I gave him, walk towards us.

"Paige?"

"The one and only." He smiles and pulls her in for her third hug in just under a minute. He kisses her temple - which makes me a little jealous - and pulls away from her.

"Good match, Leati. I got one hell of a beating. Prepare Seth." Seth grins and I look at Paige, she seemed cold and collected and that's when I noticed that the cameras were coming towards us.

"Guys, cameras." We set up our game faces. Paige was behind the men, Randy and Seth were talking amongst each other and I was out of cameras view.

"He beat you, Randy! That wasn't part of the plan." Seth says, unamused.

"He took me off guard, Seth. It won't happen again."

"Good, because the moment we get the newest member of our pack in, we will get rid of Dean Ambrose and Roman Reigns for good."

"And who is this other member you're always talking about?"

"You'll see. Be patient." Seth smirks and taps Randy's chest. "Be patient." And then he leaves. Randy looks after him in confusion.

The cameras cut and Seth comes back. Paige disappeared and I smirk at Randy and Seth.

"Monday is when Dean is supposed to be back. I don't think he's gonna like you that much, Seth."

"I didn't mean to hit her that hard."

"I'm surprised all you got was a bump."

"I'm surprised to, I guess my parents were right. I do have a hard head." We laugh until we notice the clicking of heels and we turn to look at Stephanie McMahon.

"Seth and Randy. It was a good promo. Leati, good match. Seth, you were wondering what Paige is goin to do until she recovers. She'll be Dean's valet until she turns and joins us. Then she'll be yours until she gets better. And when she gets better, she'll be competing against AJ and Brie and Nikki and her beloved friend, Emma. Got it?"

"Yes."

"Good." She walks away and motions towards the gorilla. Seth was supposed to go and cut a promo and then I was supposed to interrupt.
