A New Paige

Awake

Brie:

I walk into Paige's hospital room and sit down in the chair.

"Leati's going to be at RAW tonight. It's too bad you won't be able to see him. He's constantly texting me about you, asking how you're doing. I can't reply though, I don't want to break his heart. He's gonna kill Colby when he finds out though so maybe...i don't know. Please wake up soon, Paige. Missing you like crazy." I kiss her forehead and place the vase of roses I got for her on the bedside table. I look at her again and walk out.

I change into a sports bra and shorts and go up and down the stairs continuously.

"Hey, Brie!" I pause and look behind me, AJ was in her workout gear and was jogging towards me. "How is she?"

"She's fine, still hasn't woken up yet. I'm just worried about her."

"We all are, but I believe she's gonna pull through."

"I believe so too."

"I should go, Phil is waiting for me. He's worried about her too so we were gonna go and visit her for a little bit."

"Alright. Can you make sure the roses are still there?"

"Absolutely!"

"Thanks." She smiles and gives me a hug before jogging off.

I go back to running up and down the stairs.

Dean:

I jog towards Paige's room and sit down on the chair. I noticed the vase of flowers Brie bought her.

"Hey, beautiful. I have an hour before I have to go so I'm gonna spend it with you. I miss you a lot. I wish you could be in behind the gorilla and cheer me on like you always did. I know that'll happen again soon, I just...i just wish it was sooner than later." I kiss her cheek. "I still love you Paige. There is no other girl that can compare to you. There is no girl in the locker room, in the NXT, in the TNA, anywhere. The only girl I have my eye on is the girl who's laying in front of me." I tenderly kiss her lips and look at her pale face. "You're beautiful."

"Thank you." I jump as I look at Paige. She opens her eyes, a smile on her lips. "I think, I think you have someone on your lip. Let me take a closer look." I give her a strange look but lean closer. She reaches up and kisses me.

I kiss her back and pull away, smiling.

"Paige, I'm in love with you."

"I love you too, Jon." I smile and kiss her again.

"I have to go, Brie will be here shortly." I pluck a Rose from the vase and place it on Paige's chest.

"Love you."

"Love you too."

Brie:

"Brie!" I look behind me, Dean had a huge smile on his face and he was running towards me. "She's awake! She's awake! She's ok!"

"Paige? Paige is awake?"

"Yes!" he hugs me and then runs off. Crazy Lunatic.

I drive to the hospital and run to Paige's room. I throw open the door, Paige was on her phone.

"Paige!"

"Brie!" Paige smiles and I hug her, gently.

"I missed you so much!" Paige looks at me and smirks. "What?"

"You're in your ring gear." I look down and laugh. She was correct.

"I just missed you."

"I know, I heard everything you said. I was awake, just...pretending I be asleep."

"You sneaky devil." I laugh. "I have to go but I'll be back. I promise."

"Don't be late, I'll be waiting." She smirks and I quickly make my way to the arena.

Dean:

"What? You want me to leave?" Seth asks Mercury and Noble. "What? You don't think....you don't think I understand what I'm doing out here? You don't think I get that I'm a marked man, that I put a target on my back? Oh, I get it. I get it and I've got news for you! I've got news for all of you! I love it! I love it! This is what I live for! Look at me! Everybody wants a piece of Seth Rollins!" Seth begins nodding his hand, a smile on his face. "Ambrose. Your beloved Dean Ambrose, he can't wait to get his hands on me." John Cena runs towards the ring and Seth attacks him. Seth turns and slips out of the ring, running through the crowd.

I enter through the crowd and stand beside Seth, watching John. He taps my chest but when he looks at me, his face is full of surprise. I look at him and unleash on him.

Seth runs back to the ring. John grabs him and pulls him over the barricade, where they begin throwing punches. I climb the barricade and jump on them both. I focus my attention on Seth but am pulled away by the Cruiserweight division. Seth runs up the ramp and Triple H and Stephanie walk out. They issue a handicap match. John and I against Seth, Randy and Kane.

"I don't like you, and you don't like me. Now that that's all out in the open, maybe we can coexist. For one night but if," I shrug my shoulders, "if not, them that's fine, I don't care cause I have no problem dropping you right now and taking on the Authority by myself." I stare at John as he smirks and re-enters the ring.

"You gonna take the Authority on by yourself? Let me clue you in, Einstein. The last time you did that, the Authority drove your skull into the cinder blocks and Paige ended up in the hospital." John paces and looks at me. "You know, Mr. Ambrose. I got to admit, you've got something that no other WWE superstar has, something that I haven't seen in a long time. Guts. The guts to say and do whatever the hell you want."

Paige:

I turn my head to the side, opening my eyes. I look at the person seated in the chair, startled.

"Colby?"

"Hey, I'm sorry about what happened. I came here to see how you were doing."

"I'm doing better. My head doesn't hurt."

"They did some sort of reconstructive surgery so...yeah."

"Alright."

"Listen, Stephanie and Paul want you to join the authority when you come back. It'll be staged because you're dating Dean, right?"

"Yes."

"Alright." He smiles and kisses my forehead before leaving.
