I Can Never Stay Away

Paige:
I scream and throw a chair into my mirror, shattering the glass. I cry as I fall to my knees on top of the broken glass. I run my hands through my hair and cry harder. I'm broken. I'm still in love. And he's moved on.
"Saraya? Are you alright?" I cry even harder and the door is thrown open and a pair of arms lifts me off the bloody floor and down the stairs. I cover my face with my hands, I didn't want to see all the people who were downstairs; the people who would be disappointed.
"Colby, what's wrong with Saraya?"
"I think you need to back off, Jon."
"But Saraya..."
"He said back off, Jon."

Jon:
Colby comes downstairs with Saraya, her hands covered her face but her knees and legs were cut up.
"Colby, what's wrong with Saraya?"
The venom in his answer told me the truth. I was what was wrong with Saraya, "I think you need to back off, Jon."
"But Saraya..."
"He said back off, Jon." The anger in Leati's voice was clear. He wasn't pleased about this. And he wasn't pleased that I was the cause of this.
Colby takes her out of the house and I follow him. He gently places Saraya in the back of the car, closing the door and then turning on me.
"You just couldn't keep your lips for one person, could you? If you truly loved Saraya, you wouldn't have done what you did! You're an idiot for this! She deserves so much better than the shit you out her through."
"And you're better how? You left her when I was gone, when she dated Leati. You ditched her! You left her when she needed someone, but where were you? You were too busy being jealous to care!" Colby punches me in the face and I tackle him to the ground. I land punches to his face before someone pulls me off of him. I struggle to get free.
"Stop fighting! Enough! This is ridiculous!" A female voice screams in my ear and I detach their hands from around my waist and turn to face the intruder. It was Saraya.
Saraya with tear stains on her cheeks and blotchy red spots on her face. She glares at me and smacks me across the face but then wraps her arms around my waist.
"I hate you." She mumbles out.
I laugh and hug her back, "love you too." She detaches from me and helps up Colby. He glares at me and gives her a hug. They speak in hushed tones but Colby sighs and kisses her forehead and hugs her again.

Saraya:
I'm torn. I love Jon but how can I trust him? He was caught locking lips with Renee! My heart and head both told me to go for him, to give him another chance but my body told me to find someone else.
I look at Jon, he was watching me with a sad look on his face. I look to the ground and run a hand through my hair.
"Let's get you to the hospital." I nod without looking up and slip quietly into the backseat. The car starts and Colby drives me to the hospital.

Jon:
I walk inside; to where Tenille, Leighla, Leati, JoJo - Leati's daughter, AJ, Phil, and Brie were waiting in the living room.
I swing my leather jacket over my shoulder. "Where are you going?"
"Home."
"Why?"
"I can't stay here, I'm not welcomed."
"You're right. You're not. But one person does welcome you. She's the one you BROKE!" I sigh and shake my head.
"She won't accept me. She avoided my eyes, she can't even look at me."
"The hug told a different story." I shrug and walk out. The hug meant nothing to her, but I held her in my arms one last time. And that's all I ever wanted. One last time.

Wednesday - November 5: Saraya
I sat up in my bed, looking around at the catastrophic mess I had created yesterday. I shake my head and stand on my feet and make my way to the bathroom. I shower and change into skinny jeans and a crop top.
I walk downstairs and am surprised to find Colby sitting on the couch with Jon. Colby looks up and smiles.m
"Morning sleepyhead."
"Hey, Colby. What time is it?"
"Around 3:30." I sigh and give him a small smile.
"Thanks." He smiles and I make my way to the kitchen. I open the fridge and grab a can of coke and a slice of pizza.
"Umm, isn't Cole unhealthy in the morning?"
"Well, I'm lucky. It's not morning." I open the tab and take a drink. I throw the pizza into the microwave and put it on for forty seconds. I lean against the counter, my head in my hands.
"Are you ok?"
"I'm fine." I snap. I stand up straight and run my hand through my hair. I check my phone.
Hey sweetie, how are you holding up? Is Colby there? - Leighla
Hey Hun, I'll be there in an hour so we can go out for dinner. Nikki is busy so it'll be just us two. - Brie
If Jon does anything stupid, I'll beat him up. You'll forever be my first love. - Phil
I grab my pizza from the microwave and place it on a plate. I turn around, only to be nearly over by Jon.
"Sorry." I just shrug and walk away.

Jon:
I run a hand through my hair in frustration, pulling on the ends and walking towards the kitchen. Saraya was leaning against the counter, her head in hands.
"Are you ok?"
"I'm fine." She snaps. She looks at her phone and then takes her food out of the microwave, placing it on a plate and she nearly collides into me.
"Sorry." She just shrugs it off and walks away. I sigh and go after her.
"Saraya, wait. Can I talk to you?"
"I'm busy, Jon. No."
"Please?"
"What don't you get about the word no?"
"I want to apologize but I can't do that when you're actin like a little bitch!" She turns around and slaps me.
"Get out!" She screams, I could hear Colby running over to us. "Get out of my house you lunatic! You asshole! Get out!" Colby grabs me by the arms and drags me towards the door. He shoves me out the door.
"What the hell is wrong with you? You're such an asshole to a perfect girl." He slams the door close and I walk away. I'm such a screwup.

Colby:
I enter the house and walk towards Saraya.
"You ok?" She begins crying again and falls to the floor. I catch her just before her head hits the floor. I pick her up and carry her to the couch and set down. Her phone goes off and I check it.
I'm gonna break it off with Colby. - Leighla.
