Chapter 7 -Break In To Break Out

Mina's POV

It was early in the morning, Tuesday morning to be more specific, and everyone in the dorms was awake and getting ready for the day. I was eating my breakfast with Kirishima and Bakugou, good old eggs and bacon, when I noticed that something, or rather someone, was missing.

"Hey, your rooms are next (L/N)'s right? Have you seen him today?" I asked before taking a bite out of my bacon. "Hmm. Don't think I have actually" Kirishima answered. I instantly became worried, and it probably showed because of what Kirishima suggested next.

"Look, if you'd like it me and Bakugou could go check on his room after getting our bags from our rooms" he said trying to cheer me up. I nodded and we finished our meals and headed our different ways.

I walked to class while talking to Toru, and continued talking to her after we had arrived in the classroom. A few minutes later though our conversation was interrupted by Kirishima and Bakugou entering the room trying to catch their breaths and with worried looks on their faces.

They walked over to us and Kirishima said "He wasn't in his room Ashido" Bakugou walked next to him while looking down. "From what I could tell it doesn't look like he slept there this night either".

Sero, Kaminari and Jirou overheard our conversation and asked us what was going on and Kirishima gave them an explanation of what's happening.

When Aizawa came in he told all of us to go to our seats but instead I stood up and walked towards him. He looked at me and he immediately noticed that something was bothering me.

"What's the matter Ashido?" he asked looking at me. I looked down fidgeting with my fingers "It's just that... Well (L/N) wasn't in his room, and we didn't see him yet today so I was wondering if you knew something"

He looked at me for a second, thinking about what he should and shouldn't say, until he gave me one last look and sighed in defeat.

"He's in the hospital recovering from a surgery"

(Y/N)'s POV

It's 12:14 AM and I find myself on a particularly weird scenario, even for me. I was patrolling as usual when I was approached by a police car. An officer came out of the vehicle and said "We need your help".

I entered the car and they explained to me the situation on our way to the mansion. Yes, mansion. Let me explain.

Apparently there's this group of thugs/villains that have been giving the police department of Musutafu quite some trouble as of lately, and now they had taken a step too far.

This group of thugs have invaded the Yaoyorozu Mansion and taken everyone in the house as hostages, from the butlers to Mr and Mrs Yaoyorozu themselves.

And as thugs do, they requested the usual helicopter and millions of yen in cash as an exchange for the hostages. The police in the scene had managed to stall for a while, communicating through a maid that was being held at gun point by one of the thugs.

They wanted a hero to help, but needed someone more discrete and low key, so they decided to go for me instead of someone like Endeavor or Mount Lady.

They also gave me the basic information on our way there. The house is surrounded by a huge piece of land and a fence surrounding the whole territory, there are two floors to the house, the first one containing the living room, dining room, kitchen, and other small rooms, and the second floor has the bedrooms and two offices. I was also told that the 20 hostages were all located inside the dining room, all tied up and with their mouths covered, except the maid that was being used as means of communication of course. There were 7 armed thugs, 3 in the dining room (one of which is in charge of the maid), 2 in the master bedroom trying to open up the safe, and two in the main entrance hall.
