(Y/N)'s POV

Two days had passed since me and Mina's date and as Monday came we were back to classes, ready to give our all to make a better future for the world as heroes. But of course the world wasn't all rainbows and sunshine.

One of my biggest obstacles since joining U.A. had been the media, and them blatantly going out to get me at every chance they got. I would probably have bet money that they'd make an article slandering me, even if it was just about how I had used chopsticks in a way that was wrong.

It was a complete pain in the ass, but suddenly a possible saving grace had come from the heavens. Or rather, from another table of the mall's food court. The chance to appear on a late night show could very possibly help me clear my name, thought at the same time if I didn't behave myself properly it could and would just make the problem worse.

And that's where the phone call came in. As me and my friends were eating our lunch between classes I got a call from a familiar number and excused myself from the table as I walked to an empty hallway to take the call.

"Hello, (Y/N) (L/N) speaking" "Good afternoon Mr. (L/N). We're calling to say that your request has been granted" the man spoke from the other side of the phone. "Really? That's good, when are we going live?" "We were thinking about having you on at night on Saturday since you'd have to come to Tokyo for the shoot and we wouldn't want to get in trouble with U.A.. How does that sound?"

"That sounds fine. I'll speak to you tomorrow about the details after I'm done with class" "Sure, but why not today?" "I have some important stuff to do today so I'd rather talk tomorrow, got a problem with that?" "Of course not, we understand you're a very busy young man. Have a good day sir" "Yeah, you too" I spoke into the phone. I would be lying if I said I wasn't even a bit excited to go on live television but all my past experiences were constantly preventing me from being too happy about this.

Before I could go back to eating my lunch though, the bell rang and so I decided on heading to class directly rather than meeting up with my friends at Lunch Rush. And so, I walked into the classroom and sat in my desk.

As Mina and the others walked into the classroom they asked me about who I was talking to during lunch and I just said that I'd tell them once classes were over, making my girlfriend pout in frustration.

Classes were over in the blink of an eye though, and before the bell was even finished ringing, my friends were already surrounding my desk. "So who was it?" "Yeah, it better be something amazing for you to put us in all this suspense!" Hagakure and Kaminari said.

"It's nothing too big. It's just... I'm going to be interviewed on live television" I explained with with a small smile while standing up from my seat and walking out of the classroom with my things, leaving most of them shocked or excited. "Wow, I wouldn't have expected that from you (L/N). Don't you and the media have some love hate relationship, only without the love?" Sero asked.

"That's exactly why he's going you dumbass. He's going to try to clear things up with those idiots" Bakugou said annoyedly. "Still, I wouldn't have expected you to go through with it (L/N)" Jirou said.

"Yeah, me neither actually..." I said while scratching the back of my neck "But I managed to form something of a deal with them that has made me much more relaxed to the idea" I continued. "Really? What's that?" Kirishima asked.

"I'm not going there alone. Ashi's going with me" I said with a smile looking at her. You could clearly see the surprise on her face, before it turned into happiness and excitement as she jumped at me to bear hug me.

After almost suffocating me with her hug, she stepped back from the hug while still holding my hands and looking at me with a smile that I absolutely loved. "I can't believe you actually did it!" she said happily.
