We got back and Kyle piped up at the sight that we were back. They must have not talked while we were gone. Erik look up at me and smiled. I smiled back and sat down. It was then I noticed that Raoul seemed a lot more protective over Christine and Gustauve.

I laughed a little at this, "Raoul, do you seriouslly still think that he'll take your wife?" I was straight to the point. Erik's gaze snapped to me, curriously. "I mean seriously, he loves me now." I smile and wrinkle my nose. Raoul looks shocked at my comment. "I'll be having none of that, you guys are grown men, I dont want any fights and I'm sure Christine agrees with me." I say and straighten up my posture. Kyle looks awkward and Meg looks speechless. I laugh a little, "I'm sorry for being rude but its true guys, he isnt here to hurt you, not me either. I love you all, you're my family. I cant have yourself getting torn apart over things that happened long ago. Now, I am being really weird right now so I'll just, be right back."
I stand and Erik's hand clasps onto my own. I smile at him and the others before leaving to the bathroom. Once I get in there I sigh and close my eyes, this friend group is so problematic. I lean on the sink and open my eyes. A lady is next to me, smiling.
"Troubles miss?" She asks and wipes her hands on a towel.
"Just a little." I smile back and look into the mirror
"A man or..?"
"Oh no, just a little worn out." I turn on the water and rub my hands.
"Hmmm."
"What about you?"
"I'm okay, I'm just stressed too."
"Oh really, can I ask why?"
"I just had a baby and I'm pretty sure my husband is cheating on me." She chuckles sadly.
"Oh miss I'm so sorry." I say and wipe my face with water.
"Its okay."
"Is there anything I can do to help?" I ask and wipe my hands off.
"Not really unless you can give me a job?" She smiles unhopefully.
"I cannot but I can sugest you one?" I say and fix up my makeup. "I work in the opera house, as a dancer, maybe you could find work there? I could care for your baby while you're busy." I suggest and look at her.
"Oh madame that would be perfect! Thank you, what is your name?" She hild my hands excitedly.
"Katherina Daniels, and you?"
"Melody Travis."
I noticed a baby in her arms, "And this one?"
"Lily." She smiled proudly at the girl.
"A lovely name for a lovely girl." I smile.
"I wouldnt like to hold you any longer, I'll see you soon Katherina."
"You too Melody." I smile a goodbye and exit the ladies room.
I pass by a table full of men as I try to get back. One of them looks at me disgustingly. Erik is over to my side in a flash and is looking eerily close to killing this man. I hold an arm back in front of him.
"Sorry sir, I'm taken." I smile sickingly sweet and turn around with Erik to leave.
"What. With this masked freak?"
Erik stands rigid. I whip around, my eyes harder and probably ablaze.
"You are the freak mister. I dont think I've ever met someone as disgusting as you. Not only abusing a lady's honor but also calling some human a terrible name which is clearly meant for yourself!" I start to heat up more with every word. "How dare you infect our species with your terrible self?!" I raise my voice and Erik pulls me back. I didnt realize I was in the mans face. I struggle against Erik's grip, "Lemme go, I want at him." I growl and push away. Not successfully. Christine and Meg are by my side soon and they also hold me back. "Did you hear what he said! He's a terrible person!" I shout and wiggle more, kicking now.
"Micheal, what is going on here?" A familair voice says. I look up alittle and I see Melody glaring at this man.
"Melody! This little wrench is insulting me." He says.
Erik's grip releases a little and he becomes more angry. I take it as my chance to slip out. Meg and Christine dont stand a chance without Erik helping.
"Why is society so rude!" I shout and poke the man in his head. "Stay away from me and my family!" I storm away and take Melody with me. Erik is quickly by my side and holding my hand. "Gah! Fools." I grumbled and sat down with a thump. Christine and Meg followed and say down slowly. I feel like I was going to burst at any second so good for them. Lily and Gustauve were crying at my outburst. My face softens. "Oh my little sunshines I'm so sorry." I say with a kind voice and hold Lily's hand. Erik stands behind me, he kindly gave his seat to Melody. I look up at everybodys shocked faces. "Oh my god. I'm so sorry." I apollogize and look down, embarressed. "I didnt mean. Oh.." I trail off and Erik holds my shoulders gently.
"Its okay Katherina, you were right after all." Chrissy says and puts a hand on my own.
"Oh my I've ruined the night for everyone." I solomly say and rub my bracelet. "Thank you guys, so so much for trying. I really really loved it while it lasted. I think I should leave now."
Erik's voice sounds from behind me, "But why dont we stay for a little while longer?"
I look up at him and smile, all of my worries going away. "Okay."
I look back to Christine. "Now tell me, why in the world did you choose to order snails?"
We laugh, "I wanted to try them." Chrissy shrugs and I laugh again.
"Guys, sorry, this is Melody, and this is Lily, shes a new friend." I introduce them and they smile.
Everyone introduces themselves to her and the baby when I notice Meg smiling up at Kyle. I have a mini fan girl moment. I catch Christines eye and we both look very happy. We nod and then say,
"Meg's got a boyyyfrand."
Meg and Kyles faces were so priceless I almost fell out of mychair laughing. "I'm so happy for you Meg." I cheer and wiggle happily in my seat.
"Theres the Katherina I was looking for!" Christine cheers playfully.
I snicker, "oh stahp."
