Adam (AS) replied, "No! I shall never disobey my Rabb."
Hawwa said, "I ate from it and it did not harm me."
Adam (AS) shouted, "I shall never disobey my Rabb."
Hawwa left him. She was angry and went far away from him. Adam (AS) missed her and went to her. She said, "No, unless you go there."
Adam (AS) tried to make peace with her, but she refused. Adam (AS) could not stand that she be angry. At the same time he did not want to disobey his Rabb.He tried to remind her, but she did not agree. She said, "You must eat from the tree."
Adam (AS) did not deliberately disobey Allah. He forgot his promise and ate from the tree. At that moment he understood things. He knew what was good and what was bad. He realized that he was now naked. Hawwa also realized that she was now naked. They both took leaves from Jannah to cover their private parts.
Allah approached. Adam (AS) fled from Him. Allah Ta'aala called out, "O ADAM, Do you run away from Me?"
"No," replied Adam (AS), "I am ashamed and embarrassed."
