Adam (AS) felt something strange in his stomach. He felt weakness spreading through his body.
Jibril (AS) came to Adam (AS), who described the pains. Jibril (AS) said him, "O Adam,that is hunger."
Adam (AS) asked in amazement, "Hunger? So what do I do?
He replied," Ask Allah to feed you and make you full."
Adam (AS) shed tears which flowed onto his cheeks as he remembered how he used to eat from the trees of Jannah and drink its waters.
What happened to those comforts he had enjoyed? What happened to all those bounties? He made dua to his Rabb and Hawwa did the same thing.
The growling in the stomach did not stop. It increased and grew louder. The hunger became so bad it was going to kill Adam (AS) and Hawwa. They increased their dua and turned to Allah.
