Adam (AS) said in humility, "I shall certainly not, O my Rabb, but he swore by Your honour to me. I did not think that anyone would lie and swear by You."
Allah Ta'aala said, "By My Honour, I shall send you down to earth. You will never have rest as you had in Jannah."
Adam (AS) begged, "Forgive me, O my Rabb, forgive me. Forgive me."
Allah Ta'aala said, "Go away, all of you. You will be enemies unto each other. In the earth will be a place for staying and benefit for you for a while."
Adam (AS) went down to earth. He had on his head a crown from a tree of Jannah. He found himself alone on a mountain - peak in India.
He looked right and left. He turned on his heels. He looked as far as he could see. He saw nothing besides the earth and sky. He felt lonely and afraid.
He remembered Jannah. He remembered being happy near Allah Ta'aala. He was now thrown out of Jannah and did not know what to do.
