Adam (AS) was nearly dead with tiredness. He asked, "How do I rub it?"
Jibraeel (AS) taught him how to rub the seeds. Adam (AS) quickly rubbed them and thought that the time for eating was after he rubbed the seeds. However, Jibraeel (AS) soon told him, "Now fan them."
Adam (AS) asked, "How?"
Jibraeel (AS) taught him. Adam (AS) began fanning the wheat. Beads of sweat began flowing from his brow on his nose, mouth and cheeks. The hunger in his stomach became like a wild animal,biting it.
When Adam (AS) finished, he stretched his hands to it, to eat it. Jibraeel (AS) said, "O Adam, You first have to grind it."
Adam (AS) was hungry and asked in a choked voice, "With what can I grind it?"
Jibraeel (AS) brought two stones. He put one on top of the other and said, "With this mill."
Adam (AS) began grinding the wheat with it. His breathing started breaking as he grinded the wheat. He thought about nothing besides feeding himself and his wife.
