Iblis came and said to him, "Habil is going to marry the pretty Kalimah. You are going to marry the ugly Labuda. Adam must have made dua for Habil because he does not love you. He prefers Habil to you. Not only has Habil heart, love and dua of Adam, he is now going to marry Kalimah and take her.
Qabil burst out, "I shall kill him! I am going to kill you O Habil!"
Habil calmly replied, "Verily Allah accepts from those who have Taqwa. If you stretch your hand to me to kill me, I shall not stretch my hand to you to kill you. Indeed I fear Allah, The Rabb of all the worlds. I intend that you deserve my sin and your sin and be of the people of the fire. That is the reward for the wrong doers. "
Habil turned his back and left.
The fire of anger burned even hotter in the heart of Qabil. He went back into the cave and saw Kalima. His hatred became more.
He did nou sleep that night but spent it thinking how Habil would win his beloved Kalima. Allah had accepted his sacrifice. As for him, all he was going to get was Labuda. It seemed that the very heavens and the Earth worked against him to make him suffer.
