saturday came, i was so nervous, i hadn't seen my mum since i was 7. now i was gonna see her again. i waited anxiously on the couch, i heard a knock at the door and looked out the window. there she was standing at the door, she looked the same, a bit older but i would recogniser her. i went and opened the door "hey" she smiled and went in for a hug, i sorta stepped aside a little and she stumbled a little bit stood back up.
my mum came in and sat down in the living room. i made her a cup of tea. "look max" i sat down in the armchair across from the couch. "i know you're probably wondering why i came here" i nodded. "yeah mum, i am. first you leave dad with tilly and leo but not me and now you come and try and see me, it's been almost half a year mum. there's no way that it took you this long to find me, so what is it mum, why did you finally come to see me" i said almost yelling at her. "look max, i'm very sorry about your father but i came here to have a chat about you coming home" she smiled at me. "i have a new husband now, his name is dan and he is a doctor" i rolled my eyes. "he's raising tilly and leo" i sighed. "what mum, you think that i'm going to jump at the chance to come
back home, after the way that both of you treated me" i asked."i'm by saying you need to forgive me right away, im just saying, come visit. i have already contacted the council, they have agreed you can come have one overnight stay with me" she smiled, i thought about it for a little. "fine, i'll come stay one night, but that's it" i agreed. we were leaving that night.
i got in my mums car after saying goodbye to justin and amanda, i haven't known them for long but they still agreed to take me.
by the time we got to my mums it was probably about 8pm. "honey i'm home" my mum announce, a fairly tall man with a perm walked thought. "and this must be max" he put out his hand. i slowly reached out and shook it. "max, this is dan" i didn't know where tilly or leo were but i didn't really mind.
