within the next couple of months we packed and moved, my dad found a house he had his heart set on. we bought it and that was us, we were moving. i didn't want to but i didn't have a choice. i was finishing packing my boxes into the moving truck when i felt someone pull my leg, i guess it was brooklyn who had newly learnt how to crawl and liked to pull your trousers when you're trying to walk. i turned around to see little oliver standing there. i smiled at his, he'd gotten so big since the last time i saw him. he was nearly 5 now so he'd be starting school soon. he hugged my leg, "he really misses you you know" amanda said and i looked up and smiled at her. she looked a me a bit concerned. "what" i asked, she came over and touched my eye. i winced as it really did hurt. "are you okay" she asked. i nodded and made up some lie. "yeah i just got into a fight at school" i sat on the back of the truck and picked up oliver. "oh you're getting too big soon you'll be taller than me" i laughed. oliver just hugged me.
"i hope you'll come back to visit" amanda hugged me for the last time. "yeah i sure will, trust me" i leaned in so only she could hear. "you guys are like my family" i smiled. i hugged naomi goodbye, i was actually a bit surprised that she was crying, we never really got along that well. then it was time for oliver. "please don't go maxi" he asked as i bent down to hug him. "oli trust me i would rather stay here" i smiled as he cried into my shoulder. "you can, you can come live with us again since daddy's gone" oliver said pulling away from the hug and looking at amanda, i was so relieved to hear that justin was no longer in the house. "i'm sorry oli but max has his own family" amanda said. "max hurry up we wanna beat rush hour" my dad yelled at me from the car. "coming" i stood up and smiled. "well i guess this is goodbye" i said as i turned around and walked over to the car. i opened the door and got in, looking out the back window once i was in. i watched as they shrunk into nothing.
it was only an hour and half drive to our new house. it was actually quite a nice house and quite a decent size. we started unpacking and my dad told me which room was mine. i rushed up and started unpacking. tomorrow we were going to my new school to be shown around by the head teacher. my dad has work so he can come, it'll have to be me and cherry and brooklyn. i was not looking forward to that. i was just hoping my dad would stop his ways. that's all.
