i woke up and got dressed, ready for school. i sighed and left the house, i had woken up late so i just had to immediately leave. i obviously got dressed first like i didn't go to school in my pyjamas but that would actually be pretty cool. i met up with tristin and robert and his friends. we all stood there but me and tristin were having our own conversation. "so listen, i turn 14 on saturday so i was gonna have a gaff but" i interrupted him before he could say anything else "you want me to get you some drink" he nodded. "aye but like there's no gonna be that many people though" i nodded. "don't worry, i got you" i smiled as the bell rang. i didn't wanna go to class so i grabbed tristin a arm and we walked the opposite way. i just really couldn't deal with school right now.
me and tristin headed back to his, one he has a xbox and two his parents aren't sober enough to know what day it is. we walked in and i followed tristin into the kitchen, i saw his dad laying on the sofa with a needle in his arm. it was a horrible sight to see, he like couldn't move. the air was all foggy and i could hardly see, it was probably from all the drugs and cigarettes they smoke. after tristin grabbed something from the kitchen we headed up to his room. he opened the door and it was like a completely different house. the air was clean and i could see. there was no musky weed smell and nobody was passed out on his couch.
we turned on the xbox and he opened fifa 19. we logged on and he went as manchester city and i went as manchester united. we began playing and it was actually really fun, we were laughing and just having a good time.
suddenly someone barged through the door, it was his mum, i hadn't seen her yet so i mean i guess it was good to see she was alive. "tristin" she said, we both looked at her. i looked at her and it was as if you could see the anger in her eyes. she walked up to him stumbling about the place. she grabbed onto his shoulders and ducked down to his level, "what did i tell you about bringing people over" she asked. he stayed silent. i could feel the tension in the room building up, i looked up to see his mum slap him across the face "answer me when i'm talking to you" she demanded. "always ask" she nodded. "so remember for next time" she said walking out.
he turned to me "sorry" he seemed different, like not as bubbly anymore and i understood why. i knew first hand what it's like. "she does that some times" he smiled a little. "trust me you're pretty well off" we had a little laugh. "yeah i'm sorry about that" he said. i shrugged "don't be, if it never happened i'd never be here" i smiled. he smiled back and we went back to our fifa game.
