((Idk, man, I just happened to listen to this while writing))

Once again lunch rolled around and Ryan found himself faced with a dillema. He knew Patrick had class and he didn't know anyone else then him, Pete and Brendon, but on the other hand he was still mad at Brendon for thinking of him as a charity case.

He ended up sitting at the same table as he did the day before, except this time he made sure he bought his lunch before sitting down. He didn't really feel hungry, so he bought a random pack of cookies and headed to the group's table.

When he arrived he noticed Brendon and a boy with curly hair looking at something on the boy's phone.

"I ship it."Brendon chuckled and looked up from the electronic device,"Oh, hey, Ryan!"the boy added cheerfully waving.

Ryan just rolled his eyes, not entierly ignoring the other, but still refusing to talk to him.

The curly haired boy muttered something that Ryan didn't catch and stuck out his hand to him.

"I'm Joe."the boy introduced himself,"So you must be the infamous Ryan."he said chuckling.

Ryan nodded confused as to what the other meant by 'infamous'. He's been there only for three days. Did he mess up that badly already?

"He's Pete's roommate."Brendon explained when he had noticed Ryan's confused expression.

"Oh, yeah, sorry, man."Joe apologised,"I thought Pete already told you."he explained.

"Here's your food; and yes, you have to eat your veggies-"a boy with short dark brown hair said,"Oh, hi, I'm Andy."he introduced himself and took a seat on the other side of Brendon.

"Or Mama Andrew as we like to call him."Brendon added with a chuckle.

"Well, some one had to adopt you or who knows in what ditch you would've ended."Andy said rolling his eyes.

"Hey, at least you haven't disowned us like Pete did."Brendon said and chuckled again.

Ryan swore that if he did that one more time he was going to punch Btendon in the face. Even though he had to admit it...his smile was kinda cute.

"Yet."Andy said when he finished chewing, putting emphasis on the word,"Anyway, did the plan work? Pete finally got some sleep?"Andy asked changing the subject.

"Positive."Joe said grinning then took his phone out, showing it to Andy,"I found them like this on the couch this morning.

"I ship it."Brendon repeated, now directing it to Andy.

"What are you, a thirteen year old fangirl on ao3?"Ryan asked irritated.

"Um, excuse me I'm twenty and I prefer band enthusiast, thank you very much."Brendon said sassy, getting an irritated sigh in response.

"Brendon, you idiot, show him."Joe said slapping Brendon upside the head.

"Ow! Hey, it's not my phone!"Brendon argued.

The two continued bikkering on even after Andy took the phone from Joe's hand with a sigh and showed the image to Ryan.

It was a picture of Pete and Patrick asleep on a couch similar to the one him and Brendon have in their room. The two were leaning against eachother while holding hands; Patrick's head was rested on Pete's shoulder and his head on top of Patrick's. They looked so peaceful, Ryan couldn't help but smile.

"Has anyone ever told you that you have a cute smile?"Brendon asked with a goofy smile resting his chin on his hand.

"Goddamit, Sparkly Pants, can't you not be gay for ten minutes?"Joe said in fake annoyance.

"Sorry, but I've been not gay for fiteen years. Now, I gotta be extra gay to compensate."Brendon explained sassily.

"Yeah, but do you really have to hit on the poor boy like that."Joe argued as if Ryan wasn't there.

"I'm here too, you know?"Ryan pointed out and the group fell in an awkward silence.

"Anyway, have you all found a job yet?"Andy asked after a while, breaking the uncomfortable silence.

"Oh, come on, mom. We just got here!"Brendon whined.

"And still you're all somehow already broke."Andy sighed in annoyance.

"Fair point,"Joe admitted,"but I still got voluntary work and schoolwork to do and not so much time invetween."he argued.

"Well, that little time will have to do or we'll all be dirt poor by the end of this semester."Andy explained.

"Yeah, but we know virtually nothing about anything off-campus. How are we going to find a job?"Brendon asked exasperated.

"Uh...you could look it up on the internet?"Ryan pointed out the obvious.

"Pete and Patrick tried that, but they found almost nothing. Most offers required three years and up experience or whatever phD level bullcrap. The ones that didn't were sketchy as all hell."Joe explained rather deflated.

"Someone has to know a place that hires students. I mean...the older students have jobs, right?"Ryan said trying to remain positive.

"You're right."Andy said thoughtful,"So, we have to find the whereabouts of either Dallon or Frank and ask him to ask his boyfriend to help us."he concluded and both him and Joe turned to Brendon.

"What?"he asked in a defensive tone,"I haven't seen Dallon since we both graduated highschool."Brendon argued.

"Yeah, but you still keep in touch."Joe said.

"He calls me like once every blue moon!"he said annoyed.

"Okay, okay. No need to get mad."Andy said putting his hand on Brendon's shoulder and standing up,"I'm gonna ask Pete later if he can talk to Frank."he said with a symphatetic smile and left.

"Hey, Brendon, do you have class next?"Ryan asked after a while, remembering the alcohol bottle in the fridge.

"No? Why?"the boy asked confused.

"I need to talk to you in private."Ryan said shortly.

"Okay?"Brendon agreed reluctantly and got up, followed by Ryan.

"Wow, guys, very cool. Leaving me here like that."Joe protested.

"Oh, come on, Joe. You're a big Fro-man now."Brendon chuckeled as him and Ryan walked away.

"Well, fuck you too, Breadbin Urine!"Joe called after him.

Brendon laughed, and even if he doesn't want to admit it, it made Ryan smile.
