When people judged Myles, Ryke, and I at the contest several years ago and I kept catching the prize, Myles and Ryke were guitarists of the same generation who longed to defeat me, they were jealous and regards of me as they rival.Ryke, the favorite to win the competition, has been waiting for me for two years.
I've been waiting for two whole years. Now it's time for me to get revenge for all those years of humiliation! "Jetro said while whispering on his own."
I see you already know. "Myles said to Jetro."
Aspiring to play like I used to play, he has worked tenaciously to improve himself so that he can reach even greater heights.
His performance is met with thunderous applause. After listening to Ryke's performance, Myles quietly approaching the stage.
She had been in awe of me when I was a kid, entering to become a guitarist herself.
I've been wondering what you were up to, and now you've finally shown up. Just you wait, I'm gonna wipe up the floor with you next time! Jay! "She talks herself and ready to crash me."
Ever since I vanished from the scene, she has lost her motivation, and has been an erratic performer for the past few years.
But after being reunited with me at this competition, she gives the performance of her life.
Her emotions become one with the swelling of the music she's playing, appealing to the audience's sentiments.
Among us, Gennie feels something about Myle's playing connecting within her.
"What kind of play is this? It feels that I was in the ocean walks alone and peacefully play the water on the shore." Gennie said while watching the performance of Myles.
_____
In order to convey her feelings to me, the guitarist she once looked up to, Myles gives a passionate performance. She heads straight for me right after leaving the stage, only to find herself bereft of words. After all, she had just poured all of her feelings into her playing. And at last, I heads for the stage.
Jay Mao! Huh! Well, I gotta admit he's pretty cool. "Jetro said while talking to Myles at the backstage."
Yeessss.... He is... "Myles answered to Jetro."
As I sit before the guitar, the ghost of my dead uncle speaks to me.
My uncle's whispering saying "you can't do it, jay...... jay.....
you can't do it......."And so begins my musical journey as I confronts my past.
The competition starts by showing the performance of which Myles first saw me play. She is tired and looks about ready to fall asleep, but curiously waits for me to start.
Once my hands starting to strum the strings of the guitar, there seems to be a sort of invisible energy that jolts her to an alert state of wonder as she looks upon me.
Myles: Wooooow :0 is he really good? I can't really imagine. (She was shocked and her eyes can't even blink)
______________
This flashback shows Myle's first inspiration to play guitar.
The next senario we are shown is Myles, now in present time, giving her performance. She looks back upon the first time she ever insisted to play the guitar;
The time at the riverbank when she stood to the walls and made her decision to become a future guitarist.
We are also shown a flashback senario of Myles storing away all of her other talent, likes, and choosing to focus on guitar, and guitar only, for the rest of her life.
The next flashback shows Myles meeting her teacher for the first time.
During this meeting, instead of introducing herself, she interrogates the teacher with questions about her future guitarist career, questioning if people will be moved by her playing, too.
Myles: could I be a good guitarist in the future? I was hoping that people will like me as I play guitar. (Saying while thinking about her future)
Myles recalls first seeing the guitar being shown to her, her eyes full a sparkle and bright.
She is asked if she wants to play and agrees immediately. With a determined look, she touches the 6th string of the guitar for the very first time.
Suddenly a shock goes through her, and she starts to cry.
"That's the only sound I can make?!!" Myles wails, comparing herself to me.
She is told that every guitarist had to start with their first basic chords too, and that those people became great of what they poured into their work.
What does Myles have to pour into hers?
Myles (still playing the basic chords in present time) says her motivation is to play on the same stage as me, saying I'm is her motivation.
Now is the time of my performance.
My performance begins.
I started off on a roll, but then midway through, my playing begins to fall apart. Hearing this uneven performance, the audience starts to buzz.
The rumors start whispering around and saying he can no longer hear the sound of his own playing true?
In their hearts, Gennie, Ciarah, and Jetro cheers on me from the audience, while Myles and Ryke, who've just finished performing, look on me with concern.
Both saying: You can do it Jay!... Just do it....
Onstage and alone, confront my own trauma regarding of my uncle.
My performance ends......
Just as expected! Awesome, awesome! Oh! He looked this way! He's so cool! "Ciarah said while watching at the audience sits."
Though the rumors was spread but I did it, I can play my guitar without getting disturb from my past scene.
When I returns to the waiting room at the competition venue, his late uncle's friend, Jerry Puls is there.
Jerry, our place's leading guitarist, has picked up on the emotion on my playing.
"The guitar will drag everything out of its performer."
I was perplexed by his words.
Finally, the results of the competition are posted, but Ryke and Myles, seeing the strangely cheerful look on to my face, are struck by how I changed and matured.
Both of them looking at me.........
