I had almost escaped from Avengers Tower with the Tesseract two days ago. On my way, something like a shield hit me in the back and I landed hard on the ground, dropping the Tesseract in the process. Hopping up and whirling around I saw Captain America and Iron Man. I pulled out Riptide and fought them to reclaim my stolen prize.

Easily they were winning. The Man out of the Time and the Armored Avenger. Wait. There had to be some sort of water nearby. I could feel it. I checked for any sources of water and was shocked. The Tesseract contained very strong elemental powers. That included water. Pretty much, as long as the Tesseract was in my sight I had an unlimited supply of --

FWHOOOSWM. I acted faster than my mind could think. The next thing I knew, I was holding an aqueous trident and my opponents were tied up with ropes weaved from water. I could feel a glowing blue aura around me.

Walking up to them, I grabbed the Tesseract from Captain America, "In the words of a famous movie star," I started, "Hasta la vista!" As I shouted those words, I used a wave of water to carry me out of the room, down the stairs , and out the front door.

After that I was so drained everything happened in a flash. We reunited. Leo said something about Rascal. We returned to Camp Half Blood in the dead of night. Then I crashed. That meant dreams.

In this dream, I started off in a hotel. It appeared to be a lot like the hotel where... I didn't want to think about what had happened to her at Winter Quay, but that's what this place reminded me of. I was with Annabeth, Jason, Leo, Kendall, and a couple of other demigods.

Kendall? I hadn't seen her since she went to hunt down the fire breathing Minotaur. Is she still alive? And why is Rascal not with us?

We approached the single elevator that ominously stood nearby. Kendall urged us not to take it. Nico agreed with her, he didn't like the way that the floors above us felt. Was Nico even there a few moments ago? We did it anyway. As the elevator creaked and groaned with our ascent, I began to get a bad feeling. Two words flashed through my mind. New Orleans. Then, as the elevator reached its destination, the rickety metal doors rattled open, and the scene changed.

The next scene began by a coffee shop. Rascal was there. He was talking to Kendall and a young man I had never seen before. Did Kendall get a boyfriend?

Wait. Rascal was showing the two of them something. Was that a Transformer Rascal was showing them? One moment it was an orange Lamborghini and the next, it was a high-tech telephone-box shaped structure. Then, from around the corner I heard a crash. A brick from the side of the coffee shop hit me in the side. The dream was fading. I tried to hang on long enough to see what was making all of the commotion. Whatever it was, Rascal and the other guy pulled out... screwdrivers? Then I saw it. Nine ugly heads, slithered around the corner. A Hydra.

Then I lost it and I spun through dreamland and was shown one last scene courtesy of Demigod Dreams Inc. This time it was just Annabeth, Kendall, and me. We were exiting Demi's Olympian Shop. Demi's shop is pretty much Costco for demigods only with a LOT more samples, a lot more space, and, of course, a lot more weapons ranging from Stygian iron tipped arrows to Celestial bronze daggers.

Kendall was loading some sort of magical backpack that was holding all of our groceries and some of our weapons. Suddenly a man came from around the corner. Wasting no time he spun a staff that he was holding wicked fast. When the staff stopped it was pointed our way. A line of purple energy shot out of the staff and threw Kendall into a nearby wall. She didn't move.

I woke to the sound of an explosion. Jumping at first, I realized that it was probably the Hephaestus kids testing out some sort of new weapons. Thinking back to my dreams I began to worry. I knew who the man with the purple energy staff. Oh, I knew who he was right when I saw him. Gambit. The Ragin' Cajun. He was real, and, judging by my dream, not happy that we stole from his Avenger buddies.
