Woah. What's she doing here? This isn't good.

"Missy," I call, "It'd be cool to see who's more powerful and all, but we kinda need to get inside of the park."

"At this time of evening? Likely story. It's bedtime for you children."

I checked my watch. It was late. Later than I thought. Way later. My watch read 9:03. "What evils have you unleashed for us now Missy?"

"Well, to start with the Weeping Angels, they worked quite well."

"You were responsible for that?" Kendall asked in disbelief.

"Why, of course. That was a little present for your demigod friends. I came so close to unleashing and controlling the Vashta Nerada as a surprise for you. But the magic at this place is too strong. Most of them didn't survive and those that did had a nasty temper. They forgot that I was their mistress and I had to dispose of them, quite unfortunate.

"It almost surprises me that you would do that." Then I added, "But, we kind of need to get in the park, so you can tell us your stories of failure later."

"I haven't gotten to the best part. There's a man who wanted to speak to you. I didn't like him so I chained him up under the Ferris wheel. Maybe you'll be able to free him.

"Missy," I placed my hand on my wand, "we don't have time for your word games." I was ready for her to make a move. Belt, right side -- lightsaber. Belt, left side -- celestial bronze sword. Left hand -- wand. Jacket pockets -- sonic screwdriver, dagger.

Rather than provoking an attack, she simply stepped back. "Go ahead. Enter. I hope you all die."

"I liked her better when she used words like 'honey' and 'sweetie'" the Doctor mumbled, "not words like 'unleashing' and 'die'."

I agreed with that one. As we approached the gate, I gave Missy a glare. She gave up too easily. Whatever she saw in Water World, she was confident that we would not come out alive.

"It's locked." I heard Catherine say.

"Nothing is ever locked." the Doctor pulled out his sonic screwdriver, yet failed to open the door.

Missy sweetly smiled at us, "Anything locked with a sonic screwdriver can only be opened by the same sonic it was locked with." She teased us with her sonic screwdriver in a way that tempted me to snatch it from her.

"Hold on," I walked up to the lock and pulled out my wand, "Alohomora." With a click the lock opened and the chain fell off the gate. "That was a good try, but we play by our own rules."

"Fancy, fancy. I'm impressed. If only your friends could use that spell to unlock all the secrets you're hiding."

As I walked into the park after everyone else I turned and replied, "Nothing is ever hidden. Most people are just too focused on what's in the light to notice what lurks in the dark." With that, I turned my back to the entrance and prepared to journey into darkness.

The entrance seemed to be one of the only intact parts of the park. Broken vendor stands and small parts to kiddie rides were strewn all over the place. The park was on a large hill that had a snaking path leading down that was at least a mile long. At the very bottom was a river. The River Styx. That would be our ultimate destination. Halfway down the hill was the only intact Ferris wheel in the whole park. That was where out one man fanclub was chained. I'm not sure who would want to see us, but I hoped it wasn't a trap.

"Let's do a headcount here," I addressed the group. "At the bare minimum descriptions for everybody there's the sisters, Jay and Hailey. We have two government agents, Tori and Erica. A Sith apprentice, Catherine. An Avenger, Thor. A couple of timelords, the Doctor and me. Then the Divergent, Kendall. We don't fit together. Hardly. But maybe, just maybe, if we work together, we can make a difference. So, for the first time ever let's prove history wrong and defy the prophecy. I'm not sure how four of us are going to unite when we reach that river, but all four of us are coming out of this alive. There will not be a traitor. There will not be a war. Onward, now, and let's go free the misfits fanclub down at the Ferris wheel.
