I wondered where he was taking me. He simply would not budge when I asked him where we were going. At some point we had climbed into a cab headed towards an unknown place. The whole cab ride I pestered him for details and all he said was white.

                - WHAT? That's not a clue! it could be a wedding, a snow capped mountain or a padded room in an asylum for all I know -. I complained.

                - An asylum? Really? Wow how romantic. Is that what you think of me? - He said between fits of daughter.

                - Well I barely know you so that option stays - I said with mock seriousness.

We both burst out laughing and joked aroun for the rest of the cab ride.

The cab stopped. We split the fare and climbed out. The cold air hit me and I was instantly freezing. I hugged myself wishing I had a coat. Aaron didn't have one either so it wasn't like I was gonna live the "here, have my coat" moment. We walked for a bit and stopped in fron of a dilapitated building. I decided to wait and see what it was before commenting about it this time. We made our way inside, climbed a few flights of rusty stairs and came to a stop at a giant metal door.

                - I need to blindfold you now - Aaron said seriously. - Just go with it. pleaseeeee - He mock-pleaded.

                - Okay, okay. Here. - I said handing him my scarf.

He tied it at the back of my head so that it wouldn't fall. Then he tested my vision by holding up fingers in front of my face. I couldn't see a thing so he grabbed me by the hand and opened the door. I felt a very bright light on my face. We made our way down some stairs and finally the blindfold fell away. I gasped.
