My phone vibrated in my pocket. I fished it out and frowned at the screen. It was Alexis. I put the phone to my ear and was immediately met with screaming.

"How could you?! Why would you lie like that?! You knew all along!" She said, her voice breaking.

"Woah, woah, hold on. What's wrong?" I asked.

"You're what's wrong!" She screamed "you knew about Crystal! About all those people that tried to kill her! You knew and you still ran! Why would you do that to her? Why..." She said letting out a sob.

My face paled. She knew. I was screwed. Anger bubbled up inside me. Screw her. She can go to hell.

"You know what? I'm not telling you where the drug is. You can figure it out yourself, or die." I spat into the phone. I made a beeline for my car and raced to the airport. I booked the fastest flight out of there and sat down to wait. I grabbed my phone from my pocket and dialed their number.

"She knows" I said, a devilish smile settling on my face. There was a loud thump, and soon the lights of the airport were out. Everything was silent. I held my breath and slipped on my gas mask. I slowly made my way to the boarding gate. A tall guy with a mask grabbed me by the arm and dragged me towards the plane. No way in hell was she ever hearing from me again.
