I scanned the pages with my eyes and they widened with every word I read.

I can't believe I'm doing this but it's too late to back out now. They already inserted it in my stomach for safekeeping. They said the others would come looking for it and there is a slight chance that I will die soon. They're gonna kill me and I'm scared. I just don't want to drag Alexis into this so I have to let them take me. I have to let them kill me. I just hope they don't kill her.

A tear slid down my cheek. I couldn't believe what she'd gotten herself into. Apparently, she was working with these people that had a very powerful drug. Lot's of people were looking for it so they hid it inside Crystal's stomach so that nobody would ever find it. She knew it would be dangerous, but she did it anyways. One day, these people came into the lab where she was working, and started shooting everybody. She ran away, but someone saw her. They looked for her and, finally, contacted her. She agreed to let them take her. So they did. She had promised to tell them where the drug was, but, of course she didn't. So they killed her. They later found out where it was, and that's why they brought her to me. They thought that she had told me of all people and that I knew where the scientists had stored it. She knew this would happen so at the back of her notebook, she wrote this:

Dear Alexis,

If you find this, it means I'm dead and that you are probably hiding me somewhere in the apartment. I know you're scared and that you don't know where the drug is, but I know someone who does. He was working with us, but he moved to LA so he wasn't in the shooting. Contact him and he'll know what to do.

Here is his information. Good luck.

name: Aaron

number: 00 1 862-928-9300

The notebook dropped from my hand. It had been Aaron all along. He was the guy that Crystal wanted me to contact.

Hi, guys!

I know this part may be a bit confusing so if you have any questions, you know where to find me.

Thoughts?

- Celestine
