"uhh, joe?"

i stood on the balls of my feet as i looked down, standing awkwardly in the middle of the kitchen.

"what?"

he was busy making cereal, his first class was in a half hour, yet mine didn't start until eleven am.

"i'm sorry about yesterday.. i didn't mean to lash out at you or your friend, and accuse him of looking at my boobs."

joe released a small gasp, clutching his heart dramatically, "oh my! y/n y/l/n can apologize? shocker!"

"fuck you, mazzello. are you going to accept my apology or not?"

joe took his empty bowl to the sink and sat down at the table while i leaned against the black marble counter.

"i might, in due time. ben, on the other hand, probably already has even though you didn't apologize to him yet, and y/n?"

i took the seat opposite him at our round table, "yes?"

he began to slide out of his seat, grabbing his black backpack and moving towards the door.

"ben was probably looking at your boobs. he is a boobs man after all."

i opened my eyes wide and made a run for the red-head, but he had already legged it out the door, he was half way down the flight of stairs when i walked out the door.

"joe mazzello! tell your friend i'll kill him!"

i kicked the door, then cursed as i hurt my toe, i hopped back inside as i was berated by a neighbour for cursing and shouting.

the time was nine forty-five am, i sighed and walked into my room, changing into a black jeans with rips at the knee, white converse and a pink and white marble effect sweater.

i put my hair into two french braids and quickly cleaned around the house, then grabbed my black backpack, which was quite similiar to joe's and walked out the door.

i took the bus to my stop and got out, walking inside the big complex.

i weaved in and out of buildings, entering the one i needed to go to.

i walked to my first lecture, art history and sat beside a friend i knew well in the class.

"hi david."

david smiled at me, "hi y/n."

i dipped into my bag and pulled out a thick book that was my art his-

my heart dropped to my stomach.

i'm not studying film editing.
