and that's how ben and i ran for it down the crowded main street to the bus stop.

ben pulled my hand with him, making me run faster, i panted as i watched the bus pulling out of the space.

"ben! the bus!"i wheezed, i pushed through the crowd, i felt ben's squeeze mine, i squeezed it back, we arrived just as the bus dipped into the oncoming traffic.

ben banged on the door, his chest heaved, i could feel my heartbeat in my ears as the doors opened, "come on, get in."

ben climbed in and pulled me up, we paid for our tickets, getting looks from people as we moved along the aisle, finding two empty seats and sitting down.

"i forgot to mention this earlier, where'd you get your shoes? i love them. they really compliment your outfit."

he smiled, his shoes were a pair of platformed dark brown boots, which complimented his medium brown jeans, dark belt and grey t-shirt.

"my mum got them for me. i could ask her where."

i smiled, resting my head on his shoulder and closed my eyes, ben put his arm around my waist and sighed deeply, i felt his shoulders rise and fall.

"put your head on my shoulder.."

i sat up, "nope. you ruined it. moments gone."

"come on, y/n. the line's only going to get longer."

ben dragged me to the end of the line in the huge indoor centre we finally arrived at, i sighed, i was tired, i just wanted to go into the ballpit and sleep.

once we got to the desk, ben paid for the admission and a locker to hold our shoes. we walked into a small, you could say, 'parents' area with several small steel tables and chairs and a hot beverage machine.

once we picked our locker and took off our shoes, we immediately went into the largest ball pit i've ever seen.

at least fifty people were in there and there were slides, nets and small obstacles throughout it.

ben and i played for a while, throwing balls at eachother and going down the different slides, i could feel eyes on me while i climbed, but i didn't care. i just didn't.

ben and i began ploughing through the balls to try and get to the centre, dodging kids and concerned parents to where there was a small lime green platform risen from the ground.

once there ben pulled himself onto the platform, lying on his stomach.

i put out my hand and he helped pull me up, i smiled at him, he smiled back, his eyes bore into mine, they almost looked panic-stricken.

"oh what the hell,"i heard him mumble.

then he placed his hand on the back of my head and leaned.
