"stop! collaborate and listen. i—"

"play it again. i dare you."

david stuck his tongue out at me while i threw my legs over him while we both 'studied'.

by studying, i meant we were laughing, gossiping and listening to music.

"leave me alone, y/n. i like listening to music."

"put on something decent then."

the brunette stuck out his tongue between his pink lips, "you're really mean to me."

"this isn't what i pay you for."

"minimum wage minimum effort, y/n baby."

i rolled my eyes at him and leaned against the back of the couch, currently we were in my apartment, in the living room.

he began playing 'footloose' by kenny loggins, and then a knocking on the door interrupted us.

the front door opened and ben's head rounded the door, "hi y/n, is jo— who are you?"

he was staring at david, i smiled, "hi ben, joe's not here right now, this is david.."

ben walked inside and sat in the couch opposite ours.

david raised his brow and bit his bottom lip, pushed my legs off of him and going toward the blonde.

he suddenly sat on his lap bridal style, "you single babes?"

instead of freaking out like most frat boys, ben chuckled and put one hand around david's shoulders and another loose over his legs.

"and if i am, gorgeous?"

david widened his eyes and jumped off his lap, "y/n, if you don't marry him, i will."

i chuckled and went a little red, then shook my head lightly, i also noticed ben's cheeks redden.

"he's not afraid of your gay friend, marry him, you can't find many people like that."

i laughed and gathered some of my textbooks in my hand, then stood up, "i'm going to put these in my room, don't be too loud,"i said with a small wink.

david rolled his eyes, "i'm leaving, y/n love. i have to be back home at six, harry's waiting for me."

i nodded, walked toward him and we kissed each other's cheeks and hugged, "bye."

then he walked out the door, giving the startled, embarrassed blonde a small wave and a wink before shutting the door behind him.

"don't worry," i laughed, walking over and ran my hand over ben's shoulder, "he's dating, he wasn't trying to hit on you."

ben shrugged and took my hand from his broad shoulder and holding it, he looked at me with his mischievous green eyes and a smirk.

"well y/n, now it's just you and me."
