i widened my eyes and let go of caitlin's hands out of shock, "what?"

caitlin gulped and stood up, "i'm sorry, i'll just g-"

"hey! no, wait."

she turned around, her brows raised, "sit down, caitlin.. "

she obliged and sat down, my hand began shaking, "you make me so happy caitlin, and i really do like you.."

caitlin gulped, what was she expecting?

"of course i'll be your girlfriend.."

she widened her eyes, smiling wide at me, i smiled back and reached over, giving her a small kiss on the lips.

she smiled brightly and gave me a soft kiss back, "i really like you, y/n, thank you."

i smiled back and her and stood up, walking around the side of the table to her, "i'm going to get dressed, okay? then we can go out to eat something."

she nodded, "i'll wait."

i walked to my room and quickly changed into a blue sweatshirt and black jeans, as well as black vans.

i combed and tied my hair into a messy bun, then walked out to see caitlin and rosie, when did she get here?

"hey guys,"

caitlin and rosie turned to me and smiled, "hey y/n! long time no see!"

rosie hugged me, i smiled amd hugged her back, "it's been a while, rosie. i'm surprised you're not with joe."

"joe went out to get groceries, and your girlfriend here has been keeping me company. "

i went red, rosie smiled at me and hugged me once more, "congratulations, y/n. you deserve this"she whispered in my ear.

i squeezed her hard and smiled, "thanks rosie."

i walked over to caitlin, "wanna go?"

she nodded with a small smile and she stood up and, with a small wave to rosie, we left my apartment.

we walked down the flight of stairs to the main exit, smiles donning each of our faces.

"where do you want to go?"caitlin asked, swinging our hands gently as we walked, i pursed my lips, "hmm, how about sundae's?"

sundae's was a small, fifties-themed diner in the centre of the city, quite a cozy, comfortable place.

"okay sure!"

we walked down the many cluttered streets to a large space occupied by a light blue building, sundae's written in swirly writing at the top, in a cherry red.

we walked inside the door, the warm atmosphere greeted us and the chatter was loud, it was a casual place to eat.

i turned to look at the juke box which stood in the corner and-

"hi ben!.... oh, hello there.."
