(Y/N)'s POV
All throughout the way, I felt a couple of blue and gray eyes on me as Emma and I led the guild. I looked back at the two but they looked away and I sweatdropped.
'Hey... What going on with those two?' I whispered to Emma as their eyes went back to me.
'I guess they're just really curious about you...' Emma replied with a smile but I couldn't understand her. I sighed in defeat and looked back at the two and as expected, they looked away.
"Is there... anything bothering you...?" I hesitantly asked, making the two's eyes go back to me.
"U-um... it's just that..." Norman stuttered while Ray kept quiet. I sweatdropped and noticed that we were losing daylight. I stopped walking and took out a protection charm.
"Maybe later, we can stay here for the night. It'll be bad for the little ones to keep walking at this rate," I said and they nodded and started to set up camp.
As I was being a lookout, some of the kids decided to keep me company.
"So how did you defeat the demon?" Lanni asked as Thoma nodded.
"The demon was a low-class. A lot of that can be found in the forest, especially spots where they have their nests. You can kill any demon as long as you hit it on its weak spot," I explained weakly and they awed in amazement. "I-It's nothing special..." I muttered and looked away in embarrassment as Emma and Norman walked up to us.
"That's enough, everyone. Time to rest," Emma said, earning complaints from the kids but they followed her back nevertheless.
"The kids are fond of you already," Norman commented as he sat beside me.
"I guess..." I muttered as I looked up the sky. "So... you're a priest, huh?" I asked and he nodded in response.
"On what level are you?" I asked, making him tense up.
"M-miss Isabella never really taught us much of special skills..." he answered with a nervous laugh.
'I guess it's to make sure you're a meal for the demons...' I thought sadly. I stood up and reached out my arm to him.
"You want to learn a few?" I asked with a friendly grin that I can muster.
I led him farther away from the guild but we can still see them.
"Okay," I said as I sat down on the ground. "First, can you try to heal these wounds?" I asked as I showed him my leg and it revealed a few cuts.
"I-I'll try!" he said and started to do his work. My cuts were gone but Norman was a bit breathless over one spell.
"Well, you can heal without worry. That's good, the problem is... your stamina. Can you also protect, resurrect, or summon?" I asked as he sat down.
"No, not yet," he answered seriously.
"While it's true that most priests skills are healing types, priests can also protect their comrades and resurrect the dead or even summon them," I explained. "Here," I said as went to his side and held his hands and put them in front of him.
