(Y/N)'s POV

"Hey, (Y/N), are you-"

"What was that? Let me help you, Gilda!" I cut Ray off and quickly walked away, pretending I didn't hear him. I sighed in exhaustion as I walked up to the girl.

"What's wrong, (Y/N)?" she asked as we set up the equipment for P.E.

"Well, I might have told a secret to Emma and Norman... and now..." I trailed off as pink dusted on my cheeks.

"N-nevermind! It's nothing," I excused and avoided eye contact with her. Gilda looked at me with confusion and concern, but thankfully she didn't press on.

Ray's POV

'What the hell?' I thought as I watched (Y/N) walk away from me with pink cheeks. I sighed and scratched my head.

Ever since (Y/N), Norman, and Emma went to the cafe, (Y/N) has been avoiding me. They wouldn't look at me in the eyes, whenever I would ask them to go out, they would invite Emma and the others.

After class, I quickly walked up to (Y/N) and grabbed their hand, making them look at me with shock.

"Can I talk to you?" I asked with a serious tone. They looked at the ground and nodded.

I led them to an abandoned classroom and closed the door. I leaned on the door with crossed arms. (Y/N) looked everywhere except for me.

"So? What did you want to talk about?" they asked while looking at the ground.

I stood up straight and grabbed their chin, making them look at me.

"Why are you avoiding me?" I asked while looking straight to their eyes. Their face became red and they pushed me away.

"I-I don't know what you're talking about... " they excused. I clicked my tongue and grabbed them by their arms.

"You know what I'm talking about (Y/N), you've been avoiding me ever since the cafe. Did I do something wrong!?" I asked in frustration. (Y/N) shook their head in response.

"You didn't do anything wrong, Ray... It's just that... we had a conversation at the cafe... " they replied.

"What do you mean? What did you guys talk about in the cafe?" I asked making their face go red again.

"I-it's nothing! I'm the problem! Just let me be for a while!" they said as they pushed me away and walked out of the classroom.

I groaned in frustration as I ran my fingers through my hair.

"Why...?" I whispered as I thought of the possible answers to my question.

"Ray! Hurry up! Miss Isabella's gonna scold us again if we miss curfew!" Emma called out as she and Norman waited for me by the gate.

"Hey... You two wouldn't have anything to do with (Y/N) avoiding me, right?" I asked, making the two freeze up. I raised a brow and observed their behavior.
