(Y/N)'s POV

"Yeah, I thought so..." I nervously said as I saw the test showed two lines.

"Well, we've been wanting to have a child, anyway," I shrugged it off as I threw away the test and stepped out of the bathroom.

I started to clean up our house as I tried to think of ways to tell Norman the news.

"Should I tell it to him straight? No, he'd probably faint... I should probably surprise him with a gift..." I thought out loud and decided to go grocery shopping after I'm done with the chores.

"(Y/N)? It's been a while," a female voice called out. I turned around and saw Isabella with Phil and Shelly.

"Miss Isabella, it's nice to see you," I greeted with a smile as I took out the trash.

"(Y/N)! We missed you!"

"It's been too long!"

Phil and Shelly ran up to me and hugged me tightly, pushing a bit of air out of me.

"I missed you guys too," I chuckled as I hugged them back.

"Hmm?" Phil hummed as he stepped back and observed me.

"Hey, (Y/N)... are you pregnant?" he blurted out, catching us off guard.

"Y-yeah... how did you figure that out?" I asked, making him smile.

"Just a hunch!" he happily replied and I sweatdropped.

'Grace Field kids are scary...' I thought.

"Really!? That's amazing!" Shelly shouted happily as she hugged me.

"Congratulations, how long have you been pregnant?" Miss Isabella asked with a soft smile.

"I just found out today. I'm planning to tell Norman when he goes home from work," I answered as Shelly and Phil walked back to Miss Isabella.

"Is that so? Well, I wish you the best of luck. He might faint from the news," she said as the two kids waved goodbye.

"T-thank you... Take care," I waved goodbye to them and let out a sigh.

"A surprise gift might be the best way..." I muttered as I went back inside to get ready.

"But how though..." I muttered as I walked through the aisles.

There were mugs, paperweights, and shirts, but none of them seemed to click. I sighed and decided to go around some more and maybe an idea will come to me.

An hour has passed, and I decided to go buy a small owl stuffed toy, baby books, and a card that says "Congrats, Papa!".

"It's better than nothing..." I mumbled to myself as I went to the cashier. As I was waiting for them to bag my things, Norman called.

"Hello?"

"Hello? (Y/N)? I'm coming home early. Do you want me to buy you something?" I felt my blood go cold at his words.
