Poisoning.

Anna's P.O.V...

We continued the lessons until dinner. After eating we took our separate ways and I went to my room. I took my time in the shower and after doing my business, I changed into a nightgown and was about to leave the bathroom when all the lights went out.

I had the door open already so I walked out carefully. I tried to turn the light flitch on and off, but it didn't work. I suddenly heard a loud ruckus come from behind my bedroom door. I walked backwards from it a little scared until I heard a small knock and his voice.

" Anna? Are in this room? It's Mark, I came to save you." He whispers only loud enough for me to hear. I slowly went to the door, but stopped. " Should I answer? No Mark could have never made it to this room without Dark knowing. He's here to save us, who cares? But what if it's not real? There's no way he would know I was in this particular room. He's here isn't that enough proof that he's here to help? If we stay Dark will kill us once he gets his way. I guess you are right." I stop my inner argument and decide to open the door. But when I open it no one's there. I step out and look down the hall. Mark was there and he ran over to me, embracing me into a hug. I hug him back instantly but reluctantly. I pull back and look at his face.

" Mark? How did you get here and what about Dark?" I ask making him shake his head no.

" He doesn't know I'm here. I have a friend named Deanan who told me everything I needed to know about his castle. We have to go before he finds us, come on!" He tells me as he grabs my hand and runs. I run with him still confused, but still following closely.he had a hard grip on my wrist that it started to actually hurt.

" Ow, please Mark. Calm down a little and let go. You're hurting my wrist!" I wince but he continues to run as if he didn't hear me. So I stopped making him instantly let go of my wrist. He takes a few deep breaths before turning around.

" Sorry, I'm just..." He begins but I shh him.

" It's fine, just be careful I guess." He nods and holds my hand better as we ran. I then noticed we had ended up at the front gates, but they instantly closed and locked by themselves. Me and Mark back away in surprise while he held me close. That's when Dark instantly showed up in front of us with a look of anger at Mark. Mark pushes me behind him in a protective manners as Dark's fists lit up in red and black smoke.

" Anna are you okay?" He asks with a look of concern on his face. I was going to speak up, but nothing happened. I could no longer move or anything else for that matter. " Why can't I do anything!?" I thought as I kept trying to speak. Then Mark slowly chuckled as his skin began to turn black. His hair was almost snow white and his ears were pointed as his teeth turned fang like. " I should have known you would be back again for another soul. I won't let you get away with one this time." Dark growled at Mark or whoever this was.

" Oh I will. This one took a lot more persuading than the other three very hardheaded and stubborn." The creature tells Dark as he looked at me and licked his lips. I wanted to beat the shit out of this thing so bad. " So pure too~" He smirks making me want to puke. I then felt him teleport behind me and lay his hands on my waist. He began to travel his hands all over my stomach, waist, hips, and slowly up my chest stopping below my breast.

" Don't even think about hurting her! She belongs to me and I won't let you get away with this one either!" Dark threatened as he began to pounce at us. But stops when I fell him cut my neck this time I was allowed to scream out in pain. I then saw him pull a knife away as I felt his tongue lick my wound. I shivered at the weird touch until he began sucking my blood from the wound. I scrunched my face up in pain as a few tears ran down my face. I suddenly felt a rush of wind surround me and the creature wasn't on me anymore. But I instantly felt myself heat up quickly and began to shake violently as I fell to the ground being able to control myself again, but the pain was unbearable.

Dark's P.O.V..

After throwing the demon off of Anna we tumbled to the floor trying to out beat the other. But as I watched Anna fall to the ground, I felt a wave of anger and threw the man off of me. He crashes into the wall and jumps off of it. He then runs at me, but I punch him causing him to fly to the left side me, landing on a table and breaking it in the process. After fighting with him for a good ten minutes I finally got a grip on heart and yanked it from his chest. His screaming and kicking becoming weaker and weaker as he died. I threw his hear to the side with his body and ran over to Anna. Her veins began turning black as she began foaming at the mouth. I had to save her or she would become a corrupted demon like him. So I pulled her into my lap and began to suck the poison out of her wound he cut her at. I was beginning to feel nauseated, but it clears up each time I spit the poison out. I continued to suck until her body began to become normal again and the taste of her blood filled my mouth. I had never drank the blood of humans because it's addicting and turns us to the worst like him. I stop sucking and pull away to see her gasp and look at me as she stopped crying. Her eyes wondered up to mine as relief showed in her beautiful life filled eyes. But soon came to an end as she fell unconscious from exhaustion. I picked her up carefully and teleported her to my room to watch over her. After placing her in bed and healing her wound, I went back to clean up the man's body and everything else. I then took a shower and threw away my suit that was now soaked in blood. I even brushed my teeth and used mouth wash to try and get out all of that poison I took from her. " I should have been more careful this time. I would have lost her and I would have to kill her after she turned. Luckily not enough time had passed for it to spread through her whole body. Well at least I won't have to worry about this ever happening again now that I actually killed him this time without him escape like those other times." I sigh and go back into my room wearing only some silk night pants with no shirt on. I slip into my bed and stayed up watching over her until I fell asleep myself.
