You What!?

Dark's P.O.V...

I just had Anna returned back to her village and everyone's memories erased of her. So when she wakes up she wouldn't remember me, Wilford, not one of us demons. I had left Anti, Die, and Wilford with their of Anna's since I felt bad I had to do this to them. But it was for the best since Anna deserved better than being with me. I was sulking in my office when I heard the doors slam open and two sets of footsteps coming closer. I slowly turn my chair around as I let out a sigh at seeing who they were.

" Where is Anna!? I know you did something to her Dark, we can't find her anywhere." Will yells clearly upset and worried. Anti looked to be worried as well, but stayed quiet.

" She's safe, and that's all that matters." I tell him as casually as I could. He bangs his hands down on my desk leaving them there.

" Where!?" He asks angry.

" If I tell you, you can't go to her. If you do I'll rethink about erasing your memories." I advise him as I leaned back.

" Fine, just tell me everything." He growls making me almost flinch in surprise. I quickly push it to the side and look up at him more.

" I sent her back to her village with no memory of what has happened and who we are. I also erased everyone's memories of her, except for you, me, Anti, Mark and Die that is. I even erased everyone's memories at the D.O.S of her. I already talked to Mark and told him to keep an eye on her to make sure she doesn't remember or come to the castle. He agreed after I threatened to kill them if he didn't. I just don't think Anna should be around anymore. I fear for her safety and we all know we can't seem to protect her well. Also I'm afraid there is another war coming from the rebels and I don't want Anna apart of it. So we're going to have to train and plan a lot with the D.O.S, which starts tomorrow morning. They are having all the leading demons at their main estate where we will all train and be staying at for four months. Which will cancel the challenge thing they set up for the humans as servants. Which will keep Anna safe even more." I explain trying to sound normal.

" You what now!? Why? It sounds as if there is another reason?" Will yells suspicious.

" Ye don't think she deserves what has happened to her and you feel bad for getting her into it, right?" Anti asks shocking me on how he figured it out. " And because ye feel bad about it, you don't think you deserve her as a partner." He finishes explaining and I nod that he's right.

" Yeah, but it's for her own being as well. I could care less about myself as long as she's safe." I admit looking at some random thing to the side of me.

" Are you stupid?" Will asks causing me to snap a look at him as if he's grown two heads. Anti only chuckled and stepped away.

" Excuse me!? I am not stupid, what I decided is wise. Anna is more safer being with her own kind. Also I don't want any other demon coming in here, and doing something to her, out of revenge on me." I argue back. We continued to argue back until I pissed him off. He immediately leaves me alone in my office to calm down and as I too calmed myself down. " Did I really make the right choice? I'm sure I have, but Will's right. I will be too busy sometimes to watch over her as much as I wanted. Well it's too late to go back she's probably awake by now." I thought as I tried to calm down, but all I did was get more upset. This is what I deserve for her pain, for falling in love with her. God, and I can't fall in love with another either. Demons imprint on their soulmates and that is exactly what I did that night when we first made love. Now she will always have that mark on her neck, and I still haven't explained anything of what I'd do to her either. Luckily I made it invisible before she could find out. If a demon saw it, they would do something terrible. I feel so bad for not being honest with her now." I admit to myself as I began to throw things around. " I hadn't meant to, it was just my instincts taking over me that night." I groan as I am my fingers through my hair. " Fuck!" I yell angry at myself more.

Anna's P.O.V...

I slowly began to wake up to the sound of birds chirping and the usual ruckus from outside. I finally opened my heavy felt eyes and looked around. " Gosh, my head is killing me." I thought as I massaged my aching head. " Why do I feel a little sore and where am I?" I thought as I looked around me and whatever. " That's right. I live with Mark and the challenges are tomorrow." I then began to try and get up, but I shriek in pain and lay back down as tears fell from my eyes. It felt as if I got hit by a train, it hurt that bad. I hear quick footsteps and the door to our room, swings open, revealing a worried Mark. He rushes over to my side and tries to sooth me down. After awhile I stopped crying and choked out. " W...what happened ...to...me?" I ask him in pain. My throat felt as if I got hung up or something and my body felt even worse. I then realized something and reached down to my stomach. I don't know why my stomach seemed more important than me, but I had a deep feeling I was forgetting some thing's.

" Is your stomach hurting or something?" Mark asks. I look at him worried and night me lip.

" I don't know, but I'm sure it's nothing. You didn't answer my question Mark. What happened to me?" I ask again even more worried.

" You... Almost got raped, but me and a few friends saved you last night. You've been out for four days now and I have been treating to your wounds ever since. You should be back to feeling better soon." He tells me softly. I knew he was partly lying about something, but I let it go since I didn't really care. " Are you hungry?" He asks me this time making me smile and nod.

" Yes, I am actually. Could you get me something while I try to sit up?" I ask smiling. He nods his head yes and leaves the room. I push myself to sit up and lean against the headboard of my bed. I try to remember what happened before, but all I could remember was that night going to bed before the challenges. Soon Mark came back with some soup and while I ate it, we talked about old times when we were kids. I still felt as if something or someone was missing, but didn't know what.
