(The Originals 5x04)
After a week of being back at school, my life was starting to get back to normal. I still worried about Hayley 24/7, but now some of the normal school stresses were creeping back in. Which in a weird way I'm thankful for because it got my mind off of Hayley. I was coming back from my fourth class of the day, the only time a have a half an hour break to eat lunch. But instead, I go back to my room. As I'm walking up the main stairwell, I see Josie coming down the on the other side. Her face lights up when she sees me, and she cuts across a couple of people so she is walking alongside me. I say with a smile that's contagious to hers, "Someone's happy today."
"Aren't I always happy?" Josie asks sarcastically offended.
"Of course you are, you just have this extra glow today," I state, as we reach the top of the stairs.
"Well, I've been trying to find you, but you have been in classes all day," Josie states.
I then smile, "And this surprises you why?"
"Good point," she says with a smile. "But the reason I'm so happy is because I may or may not have gotten my mom get us tickets to a Billie Ellish concert that's this summer!" My eyes widen, and my smile grows with them.
I yell, "Are you serious!"
Josie nods her head, "I haven't told Lizzie yet, because she's also in class, so can you let me tell her?"
I nod, "My lips are sealed." Making a movement with my two fingers moving across my lips, closing them. We then reach my door, and I say, "I would let you in, but I know Hope's in there, and she's been extra testy with her mom-"
Josie nods her head, "Missing. Got it, but we have to talk soon about this?"
I nod my head, "Definitely, we'll talk tonight, at dinner?" Josie quickly nods, before turning around to see Lizzie and calling after her.
I shake my head and laugh slightly at Josie's actions. I look down at my doorknob and open the door. Without looking up, I drop my books to the floor, but instead of hitting the floor they start to fly to their correct places on my bookshelf. I look up to see Freya and Hope sitting on Hope's bed, Freya says, "That's a cool spell."
I blush slightly, "Thanks, I created it for a project for a class last semester. I also put it up in the library, and I think every student has thanked me for it." My anxiety then kicks in, and I ask horrified, "Did something happen?"
Freya's eyes widen, and she says reassuringly, "No, no, nothing happened."
I let out a sigh of relief, "Good...wait then why are you here?"
Freya smiles, "To comfort the two of you." I nod my head in understanding because I know that Hope could definitely use it.
I then say snapping back from my random thoughts and thinking back to my schedule, "Well, it will have to wait for me. I have 20 minutes till my next class, and this afternoon I have History of Witches, History of the Doppelgängers, and Writing Spells." As I name off the classes the correct textbooks come flying off my bookshelf and into my lap. "History of the Doppelgängers is really interesting because we're learning about Katherine Pierce, and she was this really cut throat badass who was alive for like 500 years, but of course she is the portrayed as the villain, but I just think she is just misunderstood."
Freya's eyes widen, as I start to talk really fast and showing enthusiasm. She turns to Hope, "Is she always like this?"
I smile, and Hope says, "This isn't even bad for her."
