Hope rips her hands away from Alex's, as Alex starts to fall to the ground. Hope looks down at her friend seeing blood dripping from her nose and ears. Hope whispers completely in shock, "Alex?" She starts to shake her best friend's shoulders. "Alex?!"
Hope then grabs for her phone, and scrabbles for Freya's contact in her phone. Freya immediately picks up completely calm, "Hope, what's up?"
Hope says, with worry taking over her voice, "I-its Alex. S-she collapsed. We're at Rousseau's, come quickly."
Almost immediately Klaus is by his daughter's side, most likely listening to the whole conversation. Hope turns to Klaus, "Dad—dad I don't know what to do."
Klaus quickly kneels beside his daughter's best friend, seeing Alex's resemblance to Hayley. He thankfully hears the young girl's heartbeat, knowing he can't let her die. He quickly bits into his wrist and brings it to the young girl's mouth. He almost immediately hears the girl's heartbeat become stronger, and the blood stopped coming from her nose. He looks up to his daughter, "She's going to be fine, Hope." Klaus sees Hope's tear-filled eyes soften a bit, and can hear the sigh of relief leave her mouth. "We should get her back to the Compound before anyone sees." Hope only nods in agreement.
The walk back is completely silent between the two, all the way up to Alex's room. Once Klaus places Alex's still unconscious body on her bed, he turns to Hope. "What happened, why were you both there?"
Hope doesn't look at her father as she answers, "Alex was helping me with the voices, she could siphon some of the magic, and the voices would disappear for a little, but I didn't know it was hurting her," Hope rambles.
"Why didn't you come to me?" Klaus asks, hurt masked in his words.
"I don't know, it's just I've known Alex for forever, and you were still mad about the spell, and the bracelet didn't work while the siphoning did," Hope answers, hesitantly looking up to her father.
"You both should have told Freya, that was incredibly dangerous what you two did," Klaus says, slightly hurt by Hope's words.
"I know, we were planning on it," Hope says. She looks over to her friend still unconscious. "Is she going to be ok?"
Klaus also looking at Alex, "She will be, her body just needs time to heal."
Freya walks into the room frantically. Hope turns to see the worried look on Freya's face. "Alex is going to be ok, Dad gave her some of his blood."
"Good, good," Freya says barely above a whisper, letting out a sigh of relief.
Just then a gasp comes from Alex, as her eyes snap open.
Alex's POV
As my eyes open, the light is so bright and it takes a moment before I can make out who is in the room. I hear Hope say, "Oh my god, Alex! You scared me." She instantly has me in a hug.
"I'm ok," I say, but it only comes out as a whisper.
But it's more than enough because I hear Freya, "Oh thank god." I even see Klaus become less rigid.
As Hope pulls me into a tighter hug, I whisper, "Hope, I still need to breathe." We both laugh, as she steps back.
Freya then says, as her face goes from relaxed to rage, "What were you two thinking, doing something like this?! Alex, you could have gotten seriously injured! You could've died!"
"It was completely my fault," I say quickly. "Hope didn't know I was getting nose bleeds, and she was planning on telling you after everything from the spell blew over," I ramble, trying to make sure Hope doesn't get in trouble.
I can see Freya and Klaus both on the verge of yelling at the both of us, but Freya takes a deep breath and puts a hand on Klaus to calm him down too.
"What you two did was completely stupid," Freya says, and I nod in agreement. "But we understand why you did it," she says turning to Klaus. Klaus seems taken aback by what she says, but once Freya shoots him a look he nods, knowing that Hope and Alex are family and that's what family does. Freya continues, "But that still doesn't make it right."
"We know," I say, turning to Hope to see her nod her head in agreement. I swiftly sit up, and jump off the bed, trying to prove I'm fine. Which is a bad idea, because I instantly get dizzy and black spots start to cover my vision again. I grab onto my side table. I feel a gust of wind, and I feel someone's arm help hold me up. I think it's Hope holding me up, but as the black dots disappear I see Klaus surprisingly holding me up. I give him a thankful smile.
Freya rushes over to me and gently pushes me back into bed with a warm smile. "You need to rest, you did almost die."
I roll my eyes, "I'm just a little dizzy, and I was given vampire blood, I'm fine. Plus I'm supposed to be helping the werewolves rebuild their float." I get up again thankfully, not getting the dizzying feeling again. I can see Klaus has an amused look on his face, as Freya gives me a pointed look. So I bring arms out, and bring my fingertips to my nose and straight out again. A motion usually shows you are sober or without a concussion, but it proving my point anyway. I then say with sarcasm, "I can walk in a straight line as well." I start to take a couple of steps, as both Klaus and Hope try to hold in a chuckle. Freya is rolling her eyes at my joke.
"Well, your sarcasm is in check, so you must be fine," she says.
A large smile crosses my face, as I say, "I told you."
