I woke up gasping for air. I reached out to grab something to find nothing there to grab. My breathing was starting to slow down. I looked around to see a hospital room. I tried to get up but I couldn't. The ringing started up in my head again. This time it was louder than ever. I felt as if my head was going to exploded. Machines were going off like crazy. "GET BACK DOWN!!!!!" a voiced boomed through the halls.

I almost fell of the bed from how loud it was. "We need to get you out of here," a voice said above me.

"Huh," I said looking up to see Grygh, "Wait, what are you doing?"

"You aren't in a hospital," Grygh pronounced quickly, "you are in actually in an experimentation lab."

"Why am I there?"

"Can't tell you right now you need to start ripping those cords and IV's off."

"I won't 'til you tell me why I am here."

"Hurry I think she's gettin' away," a voice boomed in the hall.

"Fine, I am coming," I said as I ripped the cords, "but I still want to know why I'm here."

I stood on the bed trying to get into the ceiling when the door sung open. "Shit," Grygh whispered pulling me up, "we gotta hurry."

"GET HER!!" a voice boomed, "don't let her get away."

One of them grabbed onto my ankle. I felt as if I was in the middle of a tug-a-war match, but I was the rope. "Kick as hard as you can and then pull with all your might up to me," Grygh whispered.

I kicked hard as shoe fell off and pulled hard. I was in the ceiling in a matter of seconds. "So why am I in an experimental lab," I questioned.

"You were there because you have a connection to another dimension," Grygh whispered, "that is why you were fading in and out earlier. Now hurry."

I continued to climb through the ceilings. I had no idea where we were going. I just hope we get out of here and I get different clothes on. "Are we almost out of this ceiling?" I asked, "Because this space is starting to get really small."

"Yes," Grygh whispered.

I felt the space start to slowly get smaller and smaller. I heard a faint ringing in the distance. I didn't really believe I was connected to another dimension. There's absolutely no way. It isn't even scientifically possibly. We were in the ceiling for what felt like another five minutes until we were at an exit. "Thank God," I breathed.

"We need to hurry and get to your car," Grygh demanded.

"Wait how?" I perplexed, "how do you have my car."

"You didn't lock it at the party and Alison gave me the spare key you gave her."

"God Alison is way to trustworthy."

Alison is always way to trustworthy. A few years ago Alison lost at least half her savings to someone who she believed was her great-grandmother. "She seemed pretty confident that she was doing the right thing."

"She's always confident that she is always doing the right thing."

We raced out my car as people started coming out of the building. "Get her," a tall guy demanded, "if she gets away all of you lose your jobs."

When we got to my car Grygh got in the driver's seat and started it. Before my door was closed all the way he started speeding off. "There's clothes in the back," Grygh said, "you can go change out of that hospital gown."

I climbed into the backseat to see that my clothes from the party were there. Jesh, that party felt like weeks ago. "How long ago was the party?" I asked pulling up my jeans.

"Only a few hours ago," Grygh replied, "it was crashed when the IES showed up."

He was acting like everything was normal, when really it wasn't. "What's the IES?"

"The IES stands for International Experiment Scientists. They go out and take people with special abilities. Such as you."

"So they only wanted me to study this so called ability of mine to connect to other dimensions. Which I am pretty sure isn't even possible."

"Technically they wouldn't just study you they would put you through all different types of experiments to try to get you to travel to another dimension. Your connection is possible. I know it for sure."

"How do you know that? How does the IES even know about this so called connection?"

"I know because I come from a different dimension. They know because they've found a way to track the invisible frequencies you send off when you are hearing the ringing."

"Wait your from a different dimension. Why in the world would you come here? Why do I have this connection? How'd you get to this dimension? How come....."

Before I could finish he interrupted. "Yes, I'm from a different dimension. I came here to protect you. You have that connection because you were chosen to get the power to travel to different dimensions. Now is not the time for any more questions because they're hot on our tail."

He sat there trying concentrate on getting us out of here. While he was doing that I was thinking about what he said. That I can travel to different dimensions. If I can do that couldn't I just get us out of these situation. Before I could try we were somewhere entirely different from Workford, New Jersey. "Where are we?" I whispered.

"We are at my home dimension Careford," he replied smiling, "I got permission to travel."

"Did you make everything up earlier that you told me?" I asked.

"Not entirely," he started, "my mom did send me away because they needed more dimension travelers at the DHA. I didn't want to until I found out my mission was to help you not get caught by the IES. Honestly, your power is quite amazing. Most people from your dimension get small stuff such as telepathic abilities. You are the most interesting person from Earth ever because you got Dimensional Connection. Most people with DC are from Coreford. I got my dimension to set me up to get every class you have and at the same time you have it. Also my last name isn't Harper."
