"I was in a fight?" I lied.
"Your fucking lying straight to my face," Colton yelled, "tell us the truth."
I started to feel scared. They haven't blown up on me ever and now they're here doing exactly that. My face must have shown it because Jake whispered, "Colton, calm down. You're scaring her."
"I don't fucking care if I'm scaring her," Colton yelled turning over to Jake releasing me, "She should be scared if she is going to lie to me about what really happened to her."
I took that chance to run up the stairs into my room. When I got up to my room I locked the door behind me. I slide down the door after it was locked and started crying. "Alessa Jane Nealen, unlocking the fucking door or I'll kick it down," Colton yelled, "If I break it I'll pay to have it repaired or changed."
"Go away," I yelled throwing a shoe across the room. It hit a picture and it fell and shattered. "You got to be kidding me."
"What the hell was that?" he yelled again, "unlock the door or it is coming down." I walked away from the door and went to lay on my bed. After a few minutes the door fell to the floor and Colton walked in. "Get up. We're going on a drive."
"Do I have a choice in this?" I questioned.
"No," he responded, "and if you don't get up I'll carry you."
"I'd like to see you try," I mumbled through the pillow, "because I'm not moving anytime soon."
He came over and picked me up. He carried me down the stairs towards the door. He grabbed one of my hoodies as we exited. I tried to fight back but I couldn't. "On this drive you are going to tell me who did this to you," he stated, "or I'll just use my contacts to figure out who you were with last Friday."
"Well I'm not telling you," I mumbled.
"Fine but we are still going on a drive," he said starting his BMW convertible.
We drove around the town for a hour before he finally decided to give up on trying to get me to tell him. He drove back to the house and I got our and climb the tree to my window. There is no way I was going to try to walk through the house full of the boys. They wouldn't even let me go up into my room. I changed in the bathroom because I had no door. When I got back to my room I saw Beckett sitting on my bed. "I'm sorry," he whispered, "I kinda over reacted."
"Whatever," I mumbled, "I'm going to bed."
"Colton found out who you were with all day last Friday," Beckett warned, "you might want to warn Grygh Harper." A knocking sound came from my window. Beckett and I both looked up to see Grygh standing there. "That fucking asshole had the nerve to show up at the house," Beckett huffed, "Alessa, please leave the room."
"But it's my room," I say.
"LEAVE," he demanded, "and send Markus and Zake up."
I left the room and slumped down the stairs. I threw myself onto the couch and yelled, "Markus and Zake, Beckett wants you in my room."
"Okay," they say in unison.
I hate them, they both always know what the other is going to say. Their stupid twin communication. They always know what the other one is going to say and it gets really annoying. "I came to talk to Alessa," I heard Grygh yelled.
"Is that him," Jake whispered to Colton.
"I don't know," Colton replied, "if it is I'm going to chop of his head off."
"It wasn't him you, assholes," I yelled walking out of the house.
I don't care where I go. I just got to get away from this house and all the boys. My life is a drama filled mess. That doesn't have anything to do with what I have to wear to prom or if the boy I like likes me back. My life has been turned upside down but I will always have one person to turn to if I need anyone or anything. Dylan. I might hate his guts but he'll always be there for me. I pull out my phone and dial his number. "Hello," he answers in a tired sounding voice. He sounded like he just woke up. "Alessa, you just couldn't stand to lose me. Now could you."
"Can you meet me at the local diner?" I asked hoping he wouldn't deny me.
"Sure," he replied, "meet you at Alice's Diner in twenty minutes."
"Yeah, that works," I answered hanging up.
I started walking. No point in driving, I thought to myself, they'll all just find me sooner. When I got to Alice's Diner he was already there. I walked in and head to the booth he was at. "You're early," he greeted, "and you're never early."
"Shut up," I mumbled sitting down.
"What got up your ass and stayed there?" he laughed.
I glared at him in response. The waitress walked up and asked, "What may I get you two today?"
"A plate of stuffed french toast, the major pancakes, and two waters," Dylan ordered for us.
I don't know how he still knows what I get every time I'm at Alice's Diner. Alice came walking out and when she saw me her face got full of anger. She stormed over to the table. "You, Alessa Nealen, are fired," she yelled turning around and heading back to office.
Well great how could my day get any better. The waitress brought our food and gave an apologizing smile. "Seriously, I'm fucking down with this day," I yelled, "First my brother finds out about me getting in a fight and all his football buddies find out. Second they are out to kill whoever did it to me. Thirdly I get fired. And lastly people are giving me sympathy for getting fired. Just so you all know it's might fault for getting fired so stop with the sympathy. I haven't shown up to work for a week, so get a life you assholes."
I stormed out of the diner and ran. I don't know where I was going to go. All I knew is that I need to run. If I don't run I'll kill someone. I don't need to kill someone. My life is already a mess. Screw the world. Screw my brother and his friends. Screw Alice and her diner. Screw everyone that has ever wronged me or ruined my life. I make my own decisions and no one is controlling me anymore. I am my own person and I control myself. I am going to go to the dimension I am told to stay away from. I am going to fight and win my own battles. No one is controlling me anymore. I am going to be free from the grasps of the world and of my parents. I AM FREE or I WILL BECOME FREE. I will be me.
