He Was Worth My Tears

'I'm going now' Brad said as we were both cuddled on the sofa watching TV with the girls

'No dont go! Stay a bit longer' I said as I looked up at him

'It's almost midnight' he giggled

'Fine' I mumbled as I unpuzzled myself from Brad allowing him to get up.

'By the way, where does Helen think you are?' I said standing up and following him to the front door of the apartment

'She thinks I'm at Jame's. She went for vacation with her Dad to Croatia for few days but she still rings me every two hours or so' he said

'Oh okay' I said to him

'I'm going to keep us a secret for now. And when she gets back I'll tell her it's not working and then after a few, I'll tell the boys about us' he said looking at his shoes

'It's alright Brad' I giggled at how cute he looked looking at his shoes

'Come here' he said as he hugged me tightly rubbing circles on my back and swaying the two of us further and back

'You're so cute. I miss you Lady Twin' he said into the hug

'I miss you too Brady Boo' I said as he stopped swaying, pulled from the hug till it was an embrace and looked at me

'Brady boo?' He said trying not to laugh

'Yes, it rymthes doesn't it?' I said looking at him as he giggled

'Yes it does, remind me to write a song using Brady Boo as lyrics' he said making fun of me

'Brad...' I whined though I was kidding

'You're so cute' he said as he hugged me again.

I was slightly shorter than Brad. He was 5ft7 while I was 5ft4. So basically when he hugged me, my head would be right under his chin and just above his chest. It was perfect considering our hug wouldn't be awkward if we were the same height but I'm sure we would have made it work either way

He finally pulled away from the hug as he kissed my forehead

'Bye Baby' he said as he opened the door

'Bye Brad see you' I said as he finally walked out the apartment.

I closed the door shut behind him as he left. I then turned off the TV considering the girls were now asleep on the couch and I walked into my bedroom. I changed into my PJs and got in bed.

I woke up the other day at about 10 am. I squinted at the light that was beaming through my bedroom window but still managed to fully open my eyes to the brightness of my phone. I had received 3 missed calls from home and a message from Brad

I decided to open Brad's first because I can't call home now due to my parents being at work that hour.

I opened his message

One message from Brad:

Good morning beautiful. I hope u had a good night sleep. I miss you already x tell me when you wake up so we could meet somewhere xxxxxxxxx
