(Tallica)
Chike BlackWood's pack was free from his control, and he was gone forever.
"Tallica?" a familiar voice murmured.
I ran and pulled Skye into a hug.
"I knew you would come for me," she whispered.
"Always," I pulled back to look into her Caribbean blue eyes.
"I'm also glad you got my message from the dream walker," she squeezed my hand. "Hugh Jackson."
"Do you trust me now?" he grinned at her.
"Maybe a little, I was hoping you would find my message on the computer," she smiled at him.
"I did, and I found your sister there at the same time," Hugh wrapped an arm around my waist.
"I really wish you would have told us about your powers," Arabella walked up behind Skye with Zaire following.
"Arabella!" we shouted at the same time. We pulled her into a group hug, me dragging Hugh with me.
"Women," Zaire rolled his silver eyes, crossing his arms.
"Listen, I have to get back to Kallica, but I expect you to visit often," Arabella glared at me as I nodded. "Skye, you are coming with me. You're helping me explain this mess."
"I'll call you later, pick up the phone Tallica!" Skye blew a kiss in my direction as she walked away with Zaire and Arabella.
Hugh's arm wrapped around my rib cage, looking at his friends who had shifted and were now dressed. Scott had his arm over Crystal's small frame, and she leaned against him. Both were smiling.
"What?" Hugh deadpanned.
"We meant to tell you this earlier, but..." Scott looked down at Crystal. "We're engaged."
"What!?" Adrian exclaimed. "Are you serious?"
"Yes, we are getting married this fall," Crystal glared at her brother.
"What? I just think it's a little soon for that," Adrian said with his hands in the air.
"Well, I think it's great," Tallica hugged Crystal.
"Thank you Tallica," Crystal gave a knowing look at Adrian.
"Oh, I see," he motioned between them. "The girls have to stay together...like when they go to the bathroom. Something I never understood to begin with."
"That's because you're a man," Crystal smirked.
"Congratulations, man," I clapped Scott on the shoulder.
"We pick the weird ones, don't we?" Scott teased the girls.
They gasped, but Tallica's eyes glowed green and the trees bent over to hide us from the sky. Lighting bugs filled the space, and everyone's faces went soft at the beauty she created.
"No...not weird," he gazed at Tallica's glowing emerald eyes with love. "Just special."
