(Tallica)
"I can't believe Scott McCall is getting married," Hugh hugged me to his side as they drove off in the yellow Camaro.
"Well, I'm happy for them," I rolled my different colored eyes.
"Oh, I'm happy for him," Hugh grinned. "He has to learn to listen to the female species."
I elbowed him, "We are not that bad."
"Not one that I know," he leaned down to kiss me.
"Oh God," Adrian covered his eyes. "Would you please wait until I'm long gone before you two get all lovey-dovey."
Hugh growled, and glared at him, but I pinched his arm.
"What? He started it," Hugh pointed at Adrian.
"Manners, boys," I rolled my eyes. "That's what those are called."
"Can you believe we only just met each other two weeks ago today?" Hugh smiled.
"Feels like a lifetime go," I squinted at the setting sun.
"I'm glad I walked into that house," Hugh gazed down at me.
"Even with all the trouble it brought you?" Adrian chimed in from his seat on the step, watching them.
"Defiantly," Hugh laughed and I joined in. Adrian's phone dinged and he stood, digging it out of his pocket. He opened the message and his face flashed dark, but before I could be sure he covered it up with a smile.
"Well, that's my cue to leave," he picked up his jacket and walked to his silver Ford Mustang.
"If you had a real car, like a Chevy," Hugh jabbed. "You wouldn't be worried about getting there without breaking down."
"Maybe," Adrian grinned and pulled on his aviator sunglasses. "Or maybe, I just need that risk." He opened the door and slid into the car, starting the engine.
Hugh picked up a pebble and threw it at the Mustang. It bounced off of the trunk.
He rolled down his window, "Don't chip my paint, Jackson! I don't ever own this car!"
"Oh, get out of here!" Hugh shouted, laughing as Adrian roared down the road, gravel flying.
"Are all of you friends crazy drivers?" I asked as he grabbed my waist and pulled me to his chest.
"I'm not," he began, but my phone started ringing. I pulled it from my back pocket.
"It's Skye," I said.
"Are you going to answer it? She said to," Hugh pulled back.
"Answer it," I smiled, wrapping my hands around his neck. "I'm kinda busy."
He grinned and pressed his lips to mine.
"Don't ever leave me," I whispered my forehead against his.
"No ever could," was his replied.
