I glanced at my watch. The dial is below the ten mark, back to normal. There is a reason I never stay long in Kallica Kingdom. That is caused by a plant, yea, a plant I couldn't control, which I haven't figured out why I can't control it yet. This plant is called wolfsbane. You're probably wondering why this has to do with Kallica Kingdom? Well, Kallica is overrun with it. It protects all of the people inside of Kallica, except me. It is extremely toxic to my system. My watch doesn't tell time, it tells how much toxicity is in my system. It reads zero to one hundred. From zero to sixty I'm mostly fine, but once the dial reaches seventy I get violently ill. A high fever, bloody noses, and my skin turns ashen. My max is three days every two months. The watch also measures the use of my gift. Before I designed my watch, every full moon I would go rampant, using my forester gift and not remembering it when I woke up the next morning. When Skye and Arabella found out one day when I had disappeared, they went looking for me only to find me under a large oak out of the kingdom and its wolfsbane. They took me back, but only to find that I was gone the next morning. I came back a week later, finished my Huntress training, and I kept running off, no matter how much they threatened me. I never told them that staying here could kill me. Soon they never cared when I came and went. I was irresponsible and wild in their eyes and I just never told them otherwise. I never wanted them to be able to count on me and I didn't want to have to live up to the pressure. I sighed and pulled a pan out and set it on the stove. The reason I made the deal with the Alpha was because we had been at war with werewolves for years and had managed to keep the humans in the dark, but I wasn't sure how much longer we could do that, so I made the deal, but obviously, it backfired. Now, Skye was gone and it was my fault. I turned just in time to see a young man lunging at me with brown eyes.
(Hugh)
To be honest, I totally, completely panicked. I lunged at her because I saw an opening to grab her and leave. But I am sorta regretting my decision right about now.

I heave a grunt as he pushed me against the stove with a hand over my mouth. I bit his hand but he acted as though he didn't even feel it. I felt behind me.
"Please, I only need to-" the young man began.
My hand grasped the pan handle and I swung it. It hit its mark with a loud and painful sound, while he stumbled back, hand on his head. I lunged hitting him in the throat and slamming my elbow into his neck. He crumpled to the ground and I swung my legs over him, trapping him. I pinned his arms above his head as he groaned. His eyes focused on me as I studied him. He had broad shoulders, was packed with muscle, and he had a strong jaw.
"Who are you and what do you want?" I demanded, my hair falling over my face.
"Hey, Tallica, what do you think of this....... " Milo walked into the kitchen, holding a wooden figure. But he stopped when he saw the scene in the floor. "You know what? Never mind, it can wait. "
"What do you know about Skye?" the brown eyed guy asked.
"How do you know her? " I parroted the question right back at him.
"She was helping me and my friends, and she was sick. I promised I would come back for her," the guy's eyes were distant. "How do you know her?"
"She's my sister, " I watched as the surprise rose to his eyes. "Milo!" I paused for a second and then resumed yelling when he didn't answer. "Milo! Get me rope and some duck tape!"
Milo walked into the room seconds later with the items, telling me he had heard the conversation and was waiting for me to call. We began to tie him up and he didn't resist. Milo led him to his couch and told him to sit while I made us some food.
