"We will be sharing an adjoining room, mostly because once Arabella finds out you are a werewolf... she will probably, most likely, try to kill you. Therefore, you are under my protection," I watched his face carefully before continuing. "We are at war with werewolves."
"Who is this "we"?" Hugh asked, his brown eyes narrowed.
"Oh my gosh," my mouth dropped in surprise. "You don't know who we are, do you?"
"Who are you?" he was honestly confused.
"That would explain why you never seemed scared of me. You never knew who I was," I thought out loud.
"Tallica, spit it out. What is it?" Hugh snapped, stepping towards me.
"I'm...we are known as Hunters," I watched his face. Horror, surprise, fear, and a myriad of emotions crossed over his face before settling on shock.
"Hunters?" he pointed at me. "You? A Hunter?"
"Yes," I bluntly spoke, looking down the vacant halls before shoving him into the room, and locking the door.
I turned and he shoved me up against the wall with a bang, his hand on the base of my throat.
"What the -ell, Hugh!" I exclaimed, doubting my decision to trust him.
"You tried to kill my friends! You are the bad guys!" he growled, his eyes lighting and his gripe tightened.
"What are you talking about? We haven't killed anyone recently," I snarled in his face.
"What are you talking about!? You worked for Rowan Gates!" his circled pupils turned into slits.
"We never even knew about him until you told me about him!" I pulled my dagger out and whipped it up under his chin. He froze and lifted his hands into the air. "Now, cool it before you get hurt."
"If you didn't work for him, someone in your mist is a traitor," he sat on the chair and took deep breaths, his face turned away from me.
"Who would kill innocent werewolves? More importantly, why? There can't be a traitor in our kingdom, Arabella would have told us, but...,"then it dawned on me. Valentina Pierce. Talk about a backstabber, she would be the world's worst. She was eighteen and I was fourteen when we were finishing our Hunter training. She broke into the teacher's office for the final exam papers and tried to change my answers so I would not be the best in the class. To say the least, she got caught and kicked out. Shortly after, I left because of the wolfsbane issue. She was the only one who would do something like this. Arabella would have told us though, but what stopped her? Plus, it doesn't help that she is acting seriously weird, but was she planning something? More importantly, did it involve me?
"Do not leave this room until I come back," I stalked to the door.
"Where are you going?" Hugh still wouldn't face me.
"I'm going to get to the bottom of this," I flipped my hair over my shoulder and left. I shut the door, striding down the hall, my gown swishing around my ankles. I don't know why my sister has lied, but I plan to find out.

I ran a hand down my face. I couldn't believe I almost lost control. What am I thinking, I have to get out of here. I paced the room, rubbing the back of my neck. I growled, scratching my skin. What was with me? I never lose control, and it feels like ants are crawling all over my skin ever since I got here. I tried to focus on the room. It was a navy blue and cream color scheme; it was an awesome room. I'm talking huge closet, massive bathroom, and all the rich people additions. My phone rang and I dug it out of my pocket, immediately, a groan . It was Scott. I threw my hand in the air as I weighed my options:
1: I answer, tell him everything that has happened, and involve him in a war between werewolves and Huntresses.
2: Answer and lie to my best friend.
3: Don't answer the phone and have him get suspicious.
The phone stopped ringing, so I guess number three was the option. I sat on the bed and lay on my back, staring at the ceiling.

I strode down the hall and barged into the war room, unannounced, and seriously peeved.
"What have you not told told me about Valentina Pierce?" I demanded to know.
Silence met my demand, but Arabella yanked her head in the direction of the door and her council officials gathered their stuff and left the room with their heads down.
"What do you know?" Arabella sighed, rubbing her eyes.
"I know a man named Rowan Gates employed her to kill innocent werewolves," I leaned against her desk.
Her face blanched at my sentence, "How do you know all of that?"
"So, it's true? Why didn't you tell me?" I shouted as my watch beeped. I stopped to look down at it, and gasped. It was already at the forty mark, how was that possible? Most likely, because I have been tense since I got here.
"Because it was dangerous for you to know and you're never here anyways," she snorted with venom.
My chest tightened at the pain in my heart, "You wouldn't understand."
"That is all you ever tell me!" she shouted with anger. "You never tell me anything!"
"Because you wouldn't understand!" I put emphasis on the wouldn't.
"Just go to your room Tallica and leave me be," my sister snapped, turning to the papers in front of her.
"Fine," I held my hands up in surrender....for now.
I stormed from the room, running up the two flights of stairs to get into my room. I rip my door open and slammed it shut, leaning against it. What was wrong with her?! She never acted like this! She was being so unreasonable! I breathed hard from running up the stairs. A knock sounded on the adjoining door, and I went to let Hugh in.
I opened the door saying, "You were right. It was a Huntress, and now we have to-"
I looked up to find Hugh standing with a silver dagger placed on his ribs. I froze, as my gaze landed on the man behind him. It was Arabella's head guard, Sam. I moved but stopped when Arabella walked around to Sam's side.
"Arabella," I held my hands up. "What are doing?" I took another step forward.
"Don't take another step sister," she leveled a sword at my throat. "I don't want to hurt you, so you need to willing come to the prison cell."
I reared back, "Excuse me?!"
"Your have betrayed your kingdom and I have sentenced you to treason. You will be tried and convicted," she never blinked.
"Of What!?" I exclaimed, jerking forward, but stopping as the sword leveled at my heart.
"Bringing a werewolf into our kingdom, of course," she stood strong.
"You don't know what you're talking about," I shook my head in shock.
"Do not lie to me little sister, I know a werewolf when I see one," she sneered at Hugh as Sam sank the tip of the dagger into Hugh's side, who winced and jerked away.
"Come on, let him go and take me," I needed them to loosen their grip on him.
"Just come into custody, and we will talk about it," Arabella bargained.
I made eye contact with Hugh, who nodded and hopefully we were on the same page.
"That's just too bad," I put my fingers on my chin thoughtfully. "I was really hoping not to fight anyone today."
Hugh lunged out of Sam's grasp and towards me, just as Arabella jumped for me, the sword closing in.
