The first thing Hela did as an important member of King Vegeta's army was to request a bedroom to herself. King Vegeta couldn't help but chuckle at the request as he had already prepared two rooms for the two Saiyans. Before they were free to go to their rooms though, King Vegeta had a request. He told the two Saiyans to go upstairs and meet in one of the many war chambers. Hela questioned why and was told they would be told their first assignment before she was given the day to rest.

Kakarot stopped in his tracks when they walked into the stone room. Standing in front of him was a man she hasn't talked to in years. His father Bardock stood at a circular table, a planet landscape being holographed on.  Bardock looked up, his scar catching Hela's gaze. She noticed how they looked almost identical if it wasn't for the deep, healed wound.

     "You must be Kakarot's father,"

"Call me Bardock," He stated, looking up at them.

Kakarot nodded to his father, "Where's Raditz?"

"That's what you two are here for. He has been sent to a planet called Earth. This shouldn't have been a problem as it had been destroyed by a Namekian named King Piccolo ten years ago. But Raditz's reader has been destroyed and he hasn't given a status report in days,"

"So you're sending us," Hela stated.

"I am sending Kakarot," He corrected her, "You still have to fight Prince Vegeta. You will be sent out once you're healed from his beating,"

Hela laughed, "I'm not going to let him inhalant me, he's going to be hurting just as much as me,"

"You've got a lot of confidence for someone who doesn't know their power level,"

"I don't need to, Saiyans grow stronger after every beating and I was hurt pretty bad. I'm sure my level has doubled and that's not even when I am mad," Hela stated.

Kakarot interjected, "When am I to leave father?"

"Tonight, I am not too worried but King Vegeta insisted to send you two. You will be given a reader that will transmit everything you hear, say, and find," Bardock explained.

"Alright, we know the mission, now I will be finding my room. Come, Kakarot." Hela demanded, walking towards the door.

"The prince expects you to fail," Bardock yelled out.

Hela stopped in her tracks, making Kakarot bump into her. She moved him aside to look in Bardock's dark eyes. She wasn't happy.

     "What?"

"If you fail, Prince Vegeta will try his hardest to get the two of you kicked out and shamed. It's just a fair warning,"

"Kakarot will probably have the problem dealt with before I even get there. We don't lose,"

     "Not yet you haven't,"

"I won't." Hela growled, almost slamming the door behind her.

Kakarot stayed inside the war room with his father. Hela needed a moment to cool off. Looking at his father, he was expecting him to be mad. Instead, he was laughing. Kakarot was confused.

"You better make her yours before that Prince does,"

    "What are you talking about?"

Bardock chuckled deeply, "Hela. The Prince is expecting her to fail but even his father knows he just wants to see her exceed his own expectations. So, if you like her; get her."

"Hela's like a sister to me, father. I'm not interested in her that way,"

"Then be careful with her, now that she's been in the arena I'm sure there will be eyes on her from everywhere,"

"Yes, father." Kakarot stated before leaving the war room.

Hela was pacing in the hallway, her mind clearly elsewhere. When she spotted Kakarot she grabbed his wrist and began pulling him towards the stairs. He listened to her ramble about how aggravated his father made her with the comments about fighting Prince Vegeta. Once they were downstairs she stopped.

"They didn't state where our rooms were," Hela snapped.

"I know where," Kakarot stated, "follow me,"

She let go of his wrist and watched him walk to the left. Following him silently, she took the time to calm herself down by counting how many stones she walked on. It was 67 by the time Kakarot stopped. Looking around, she noticed the enormous, wall sized windows across from the large, wooden doors.

"The one on the left is mine, this one is yours," Kakarot explained, pointing to the first door.

     "Thank you Kakarot,"

     "For what?"

     "Not leaving me alone,"

Kakarot smirked, ruffling her mane of hair. "I'm going to enjoy this just as much as you are I'm sure."

"We are Saiyan's after all," Hela smirked before winking and walking into her bedroom.

The walls were plain stone, as she expected. There was a large, red rug that was in the middle of the room. Her bed was enormous with a red duvet and a wardrobe Hela could only dream of owning. On the farthest wall stood a window that covered half of it. Giant, red curtains covered it but Hela threw them to the side and watched the city bustle from miles away. As she stood there, watching silently, a knock on the door snapped her out of her trance. She didn't know how long she had been standing there but she knew it had to be over an hour.

Walking to the door, she flung it open. Part of her was expecting Kakarot but no part of her was expecting one of the smallest Saiyan women she had ever seen. Her hair was in a bun with a loose strand over one eye and she wore a maid's dress. Hela raised an eyebrow.

"Can I help you?" She almost snapped.

"Dinner will be served in twenty minutes ma'am," She stated before walking off.

Hela watched her leave, half of her questioning what just happened. Shaking her head, she closed the door and collapsed on the bed. Looking at the wooden ceiling, Hela found herself nodding off. Just as she felt like her eyelids shut another knock on her door jolted her awake. She didn't realize she had fallen asleep. Standing up, the Saiyan woman walked over to her door and slung it open. Kakarot stood in front of her.

"Dinner started ten minutes ago and I didn't want you to go hungry," Kakarot stated, showing a large plate of food in one hand.

Hela smiled, stepping aside, "C'mon in, I am starving."

Kakarot walked in, placing the food on the ottoman at the end of the bed. Hela attacked the plate as soon as she grabbed it. Kakarot sat on her bed as she took a whole thirty seconds to eat the food. Once she was finished she jumped on the bed, laying down next to her friend.

"So, you're leaving tonight? Not even going to see me beat up a prince?"

He laughed, "I would have loved to see that but yes, I am leaving soon. I'll be meeting my father outside the palace where we walk to that big, military bunker to the left of here,"

"Well, I am exhausted and I am going to bed. Could you stay here until you have to leave?" Hela questioned.

     "Nightmares again?"

     "Yeah,"

     "Come here,"

Hela ended up falling asleep on Kakarot's lap. It wasn't anything new, with her nightmares increasing he had been spending the night with her more often than not. Her nightmares would wake her up with her own screams, it was something she had always dealt with. Kakarot held her when she would squirm and that would usually calm her down. He knew nothing of her nightmares, she refused to tell him what they were about. All he knew what any time he asked her about them her eyes would become wild.
