Hela made the first move. She hurled herself at the alien, grabbing him by the shoulders and flinging him into a nearby rock. Zarbon recovered almost instantly and punched Hela in the mouth. They were swinging at one another with fierce power. Hela would say he was giving her everything he had but she couldn't say the same about herself. There was something deep within her that was holding back. She knew it. Just like she knew Kakarot had the same feeling.
After awhile Hela began to dodge his hits with ease and started to pound his stomach in. Every hit was at the same spot, slowly weakening him as they fought. She was flung around a few times, her lip even began to bleed, but it was clear who had the upper hand. Hela was growing tired of the fight as he started to miss his attacks more and more.
She grabbed Zarbon by his shoulders and head butted him, sending him flying to the ground. Lifting up her hand, she sent a powerful blast to his head. He didn't have the time nor the strength to get away. Once the dust was clear she smiled to herself. Zarbon was dead.
Vegeta was unconscious. She sighed, grabbing him and flying as fast as she could to the rejuvenation tank in Frieza's ship. As she flew a spot of orange caught her eye, sitting in a hole a couple hundred miles away from Frieza. The last Dragon Ball. Turning her attention back to Vegeta, she had to be quick so he had time to heal before Frieza could attack him. Hela would die before that would happen. Placing him in the pod, she pressed the buttons and let him heal. He wasn't too hurt so it should only take him an hour to heal. But she didn't know if they could hold Frieza back for an hour. She'd try.
Hela flew back to Frieza. Raditz was still alive but he looked like he could fall at any moment. Bardock nodded at Hela. She watched Raditz try and dodge some punches but he was too tired. Then Frieza began to laugh maniacally. Hela could feel his power level rising. He was about to transform. Looking at Bardock, she frowned. Half of her wanted to try and finish him right then and there. But the more powerful half wanted to see what Frieza has to offer.
They let him transform. He grew in size and his horns became longer. Frieza looked powerful. Then he spoke. It wasn't his normal voice but it was just as funny to Hela. She began to laugh, causing Frieza to pause. Looking over at the Saiyan woman, he frowned angrily. Hela didn't stop laughing until he finally spoke.
"You dare laugh at me, you monkey!" Frieza growled, his fists straining from anger.
He went to attack her, only to be stopped by Bardock. His fist was caught by the Saiyan. Hela smiled, impressed. Bardock was giving him a death stare before he kicked Frieza away from him. Before the alien could counter Bardock was in front of him, punching him into a rock. As they started to fight Hela looked behind her, sensing her friend approaching.
"Woah! What happened to Frieza?" Kakarot questioned.
"A new form, I don't know how many he has but his power is raising with each one it seems,"Kakarot spotted his brother on the ground, unconscious. He swooped down and grabbed him, dragging him out of the way. Two minutes later an enormous energy blast hit some nearby boulders, sending them where Raditz would have been. Hela leaned against Kakarot as she watched them fight. She was relaxed, to Kakarot's surprise. After a few minutes he questioned where Vegeta was. She explained what happened.
Bardock was doing well in the fight. He was blocking over half of Frieza's attacks. Hela was disappointed in Raditz, expecting him to do better. Vegeta would be furious with him. Frieza almost roared in fury as Bardock got him with a good punch in the face. Then, in his rage, he began to transform again. They had been fighting for twenty minutes. Hela frowned, sensing his power increasing tremendously."I hope your father can hold him back,"
"Of course he can," Kakarot states. His next form was something Hela did not expect. He was no longer large and intimidating. Frieza's head was enormous, long, and ugly. Hela wanted to laugh again but Kakarot nudged her when she began to giggle. She stopped immediately.
Frieza went to attack Bardock again, this time hitting him instantly. Bardock recovered and dodged his next attack, punching Frieza in the gut. Their battle continued with intensity. It was clear that Bardock was slowly losing power against the alien. Hela paced in the grass, loosening her tense muscles. Her mind was wondering. She liked to smile and appear there was nothing struggling inside her but the possibility of losing was making her lose her mind. Anxiety was filling her, a feeling she wasn't familiar with.
Another thirty minutes went by of Bardock fighting. Hela told Kakarot to get involved if he needed to and left the Saiyans. She flew to Frieza's ship that sat a mile away. As she walked into the ship she heard Vegeta to her left. Hela found him in the locker room, getting dressed. She averted her eyes once seeing him without pants.
"He is almost in his final form," Vegeta states,
"How do you know?""I've felt him transform each time. My father said he has four. He transformed once against Raditz, and two within the last hour," Vegeta states.
"We need a back up plan," Hela insists,
"I know, you need to get off this planet and tell my father we failed. We need an army,"
Hela was speechless for a moment. He caught her off guard. When she came to her senses she shook her head.
"No. I'm staying here and fighting with every other Saiyan,"
Vegeta frowned, "we don't have any other options,"
"Yes we do,""No. You are not dying on this absurd planet. You are too important to me and I will not have Frieza defeat the Saiyans. He is too powerful,"
Once again Hela was caught off guard. She never heard someone say she was important. Her father wouldn't think of saying it. Her mother was killed when they moved and didn't say much to her. Now all of the sudden the Prince of all Saiyans told her she was important.
Vegeta noticed her silence and sighed, "I first thought you were in love with that clown Kakarot and that infuriated me. If we live through this, you will be mine."
Hela smirked, "We will get through this. But we need a plan,"
"I-"
"Just listen to me. We know where the other dragon balls are. I know where the last dragon ball is. I spotted it while flying here to heal you. We get the last dragon ball and wish ourselves to be the most powerful. Then we can defeat him no problem,"
"How do you suppose we get the dragon ball? If Frieza hid it there and we try to get it he will stop whatever he is doing and try to kill us,"
"There are three Saiyans who are ready to fight. I get the dragon ball and reunite it with the others in that village and I'll make the wish,"
"You think we can pull it off?"
"We're Saiyans. Of course we can,"
Vegeta gave her a smirk before nodding his head, "alright. But if anything happens to me, you get off this planet and go back to Planet Vegeta."
Hela gave him a fake agreement. She knew if anything else happens to Vegeta she would be furious. Especially after he stated he cared about her. It wasn't a very meaningful declaration but she wasn't expecting anything cute from a Saiyan Prince. She wasn't even expecting him to like her the way she liked him. The fact he declared it made her even more determined to defeat Frieza.
Hela initiated the plan with Vegeta. The prince flew to Kakarot and told him the plan quietly as Hela flew low, circling to where she spotted the last dragon ball. She didn't know what was happening where Frieza was fighting, she could sense Bardock's energy lower than it should be, but there was a hill blocking her view. As she grabbed the dragon ball she was shocked by the amount of energy coming from Frieza. Hela could only assume he just transformed.
