Planet 208 is was indeed a volcano world. It was covered in dark, almost black dirt and soot with volcanoes covering the majority of the planet. But Vegeta had spotted Cooler's base. It was nestled in a canyon of volcanoes with beams holding it from every angle it could manage. One of the volcanos were active, spewing lava every now and then. Hela was currently at the front door of the base, a cloak covering her face. Vegeta was nearby, searching for his father's energy signature.Hela knocked on the door with a sinister smirk. Truth be told, there wasn't really a plan. Vegeta was too focused on finding his father. It was just them two on the planet, everyone else went to search their second lead on his whereabouts.
The door opened, revealing confused aliens wearing Frieza armor. Her grin widening, Hela raised an arm and sent a powerful beam through the first one's chest."Knock, knock," the Saiyan woman said with a smile.
The second reached for his blaster but Hela already had her hand up, another beam of energy going through his chest. Inside was an open room with lockers lining the white walls. Ten or so aliens were standing there, looking at Hela with fear. One went for his blaster on the bench in front of him but it was too late.
In a few seconds Hela was standing there, a pile of bodies on the floor. Not a single drop of blood was on her. But there were puddles of the crimson liquid covering the entire white floor. Vegeta opened the front door, looking at her work. He was impressed, but that didn't matter. Vegeta was on a mission.
"I can feel his energy," Vegeta snapped, walking over two bodies before opening the elevator doors, "Why can't I feel his energy?"
"He may not be here," Hela cooed, walking into the elevator.
With a frown, Vegeta let the elevator doors closed. Music began to play, to their annoyance. Vegeta sent an energy ball at the speaker. Not only did it stop the music but it also destroyed the elevator. It stopped on the third floor. There were ten floors total. So, Hela wasn't happy.
"Really?" She sighed.
"The music was annoying,"
"Take a deep breath Vegeta before I snap your neck," Hela snapped, walking out of the elevator.
Huffing in annoyance, Vegeta followed his wife. As they got off they felt a surge of energy above them. Cooler was here. Glancing at one another, they had a knowing look on their faces. It filled them both with excitement. There was going to be a fight.
"I've got first," Vegeta states as they blast a whole in the ceiling to fly up a level.
"You bastard," Hela scowled as they flew higher.
Vegeta smirked as they made their way up. On every floor there were aliens there to oppose them. It wasn't even a challenge for them. With ease they killed every last person in the building until they reached the source of the power. On the top floor, behind two steel doors, was the energy. It was higher than Frieza's which was cause for concern but neither of the Saiyans cared. They knew behind that door was a challenge.
Hela opened it with a grin plastered on her face. A rush of cool air made her hair move from the front of her face to the back. Her mane would usually be contained with a hair tie but she had broken the tie a week ago. Now it just hung to her chest.
In front of them was an alien that looked very similar to Frieza. His skin was a deep purple and he had red under his eyes. He was also taller than Frieza. He was leaning against glass windows, his tail laying relaxed on the ground, with his hands crossed and a smirk on his face. Unlike Frieza, this alien was already in his final form, at least that's what the both Saiyans were thinking.
"I was wondering when you'd show up," Cooler stated with a smirk, "After I heard about what you did to my brother I just had to see for myself."
His words were calculated. Hela looked at Vegeta and hoped he could read that too. It seemed their enemy was a bit smarter than they realized. Just the tone in his voice told Hela that. The stern look Vegeta held told her he knew too.
"Where is King Vegeta?" Prince Vegeta growled.
"Mm... now why would I tell you that?" Cooler said, walking towards them, "you killed my brother. He may have not been the smartest but that doesn't give you the right to kill him."
"When he's trying to kill me I believe my actions are justified," Hela replies.
"Not in my eyes," Cooler said with a glare.
"Well, we'll just have to gouge them out, won't we?" Hela laughed.
"Such brutes," Cooler rolled his eyes.
"Wait until you swing at us," Hela states with a smile, "We'll go ape shit."
