"No, this fight isn't over," Hela growled.
Prince Vegeta looked at the woman, lowering his arm, "Look at yourself, you're about to pass out."
The crowd grew silent as Hela took her fighting stance. King Vegeta raised an eyebrow before sitting back down. Prince Vegeta frowned before mimicking her stance. Taking a deep breath, Hela began to circle the prince, a slight limp to her movement. In a second, Prince Vegeta stood in front of Hela and grabbed her by the throat. Hela attempted to punch him but she was forced against the concrete wall.
"Learn your place, you insolent woman," Vegeta growled, "I will hurt you beyond reason if you keep this up,"
His words stung. Hela let out a low, rumbling growl as she looked into the prince's eyes. For a split second, Prince Vegeta was caught off guard. Her dark, brown eyes had flashed with blue. It seemed like a small piece of lightning came from her eyes, making her hair lift for a split second. But before he could examine her more he was thrown. Hela stalked towards the tumbling prince, a primal look in her eyes.
There, for a split second, Vegeta saw it. Something him and his father had been wishing for. Standing up, Prince Vegeta hurled himself at Hela. He had to end it before she went too far. In a flurry of fists, he was trying his best to knock her out without hurting her more than he needed to. Hela was tired, barely able to hold her hands up to protect herself. Then, as the two were rolling in the dirt, she spotted the look in his eyes. It was almost him pleading for her to stop.
Letting out a sigh of defeat, she stopped fighting. Prince Vegeta stood up, noticing it immediately. He raised his left arm in victory, having a chorus of people cheering. Hela stayed on the dirt, biting the inside of her cheek. She couldn't look the prince in the face. Then, she saw his right hand extend to her. Lifting her head, she noticed a grin on the Prince's face. Taking his hand, she lifted herself off the ground. The crowd roared in excitement.
"What are you doing?" She snapped quietly.
"You lasted the longest against me, that means something to everyone," Prince Vegeta stated before letting go of me.
Hela watched him fly up to his father, whispering something in his hear. Hela saw the spark of excitement that flashed in his eyes. But it was only there for a second. Standing up, King Vegeta announced his son the winner and dismissed everyone. Hela stood in the dirt, thinking of how she would get to the castle. Taking a step forward, she smiled. The smile faded instantly as she took her second step. Her legs went limp, sending her to the dirt. Hela gasped for air as she felt her broken rib move. Prince Vegeta looked behind him, seeing the woman on the ground. As the crowd began to leave, the prince sighed. Walking to her, he grabbed one arm and threw it over his shoulder. She stumbled as she walked, making the prince sigh and scooped her up.
"I can walk," She growled.
"You're walking like a dying creature,"
Hela huffed, "Dying creature that made you bleed,"
Prince Vegeta shook his head with a slight grin on his face. He flew to the castle, letting her down at the castle doors. Before she took another step Vegeta snapped his fingers and the guard closest to her picked her up. Looking up, she spotted the familiar face of the tall Saiyan.
"Aye, Kilgore! How's it going?"
"I'm surprised you're still conscious," The Saiyan stated, walking her to the healing chamber.
Prince Vegeta walked behind the guard. Once they reached inside the chamber Hela climbed into the pod and they began the healing process. As she sat in the pod, put to sleep, Prince Vegeta crossed his arms and watched her vitals for a moment. He heard footsteps behind him. Glancing behind him, he spotted his father walking in.
"When is he coming?" Prince Vegeta asked.
"A few hours after Hela is set to leave. We can not let King Cold or his son Frieza to meet the two Saiyans that may unlock the legendary Super Saiyan," King Vegeta stated.
"We accepted their scanners, it's great technology but we shouldn't do business with the likes of King Cold,"
"He's too powerful to say no to, unless you want us to be killed,"
Prince Vegeta scoffed, "We are Saiyans."
"And he is King Cold,"
The prince frowned. He disliked the fact they were taking orders from a different species. Storming out of the room, Prince Vegeta went to his training room. King Vegeta watched him leave. After a few moments, he nodded to the seemingly unconscious Hela before leaving. Then, Hela's eyes opened. She smirked, hearing every word the royal Saiyans had discussed.
