"I don't care about this Cooler, we have to find my father!" Vegeta snapped at Hela, who was currently sitting in a pilot seat, inputting coordinates to the true last known location of King Vegeta.
"I know," Hela said calmly.
"Who the hell does this Cooler think he is anyways," Vegeta ranted, walking past Gine, who Kakarot had insisted of bringing with them. "We killed Frieza and now we have to deal with his older brother? What an absolute mess this is! If the king just listened to me about bulking up our defenses none of this would happen!"
"I know," Hela hummed, starting the ship.
"Now we're stuck with the clown Kakarot and his entire family!"
Raditz and Kakarot looked up from the food they were eating. During their mission on Planet Vegeta, Kakarot and Gine had grabbed all the food they could carry on their way back to the ship. Now they had at least a half a years worth of supplies. Bardock was with his wife, sleeping in the barrack's room. Lucky for Hela and Vegeta, they had the captain's quarters.
Standing up once the ship began it's auto-pilot, Hela walked over to Vegeta and ushered him over to the pilot chair, rubbing his shoulders as he sat down. He melted into her touch instantly, letting out an exasperated sigh. Smirking, Hela let him shut up for a minute. She heard the relieved sighs of Raditz and Kakarot, making her smile even wider.
It took almost a week to get at the last know location of their King. It was a small, cold world with no known inhabitants. A worthless world to the Saiyan race. They wouldn't even bother sending a lower class Saiyan to this world, there would be no profit. So, that only raised more questions.
Vegeta and Hela were on the snowy ground by themselves, leaving the remaining Saiyans on the ship. The two walked side by side for two hours scoping the planet out. There was nothing but two suns, snowy plains, and disappointment. Or so Vegeta would howl every ten minutes.
"Wait," Hela stated in the middle of one of Vegeta's complaints, "look."
He stopped gripping and looked at what his wife was pointing at. In the distance, near a cave almost engulfed in snow, looked like a ship. They flew there in a hurry, examining the ship. It was in two pieces. A sign of a power struggle was evident once they drew closer to the ship. The mountain had holes in it, barely covered in snow, and the ship was destroyed beyond repair.
"This is one of Cooler's ships, he took over Frieza's army it seems," Hela explained, looking at the buried, dead body of a Frieza soldier.
"My father was here," Vegeta growled, kneeling down to look at something.
Walking over to Vegeta, she looked over his shoulder and spotted the cape of King Vegeta. It was tattered, torn, and utterly destroyed. But still there was no king. Glancing at Vegeta, Hela let out a sad sigh before putting her hand gently on his shoulder. No words were spoken but the contact was enough to calm him down.
Climbing into the wreckage that used to be a ship, Hela examines it carefully. A set of hard, metal chains were on the ground, broken into several pieces. Blood of a blue blooded alien was splattered across the walls. It was clear someone, maybe the king, escaped his restraints and either caused the ship to crash or destroyed it while it was landed.
A small, almost inaudible beeping caught Hela's attention. Standing up, she looked around for the source. The motherboard of the ship was destroyed, so that destroyed her first idea. Looking around in the pile of dead bodies, a small bright screen hiding between two bodies. Grabbing it, Hela revealed a communications device. It had a message ready to be played.
"Sergeant Ghol reporting to Transport Unit 3, Lord Cooler has requested you to meet him on Planet 208 for the seizure of King Vegeta," The recording played.
"Vegeta," Hela called out.
He was next to her in a second, "What is it?"
"If your father isn't here then he could be at planet 208,"
"208? The volcano world? I swore father sent a lower Saiyan to take over the world,"
"Seems like Cooler may have taken care of that Saiyan," Hela sighed, showing him the message, "they were taking your father there."
"If he's still in the ship, there seems to have been three ships here total,"
"It's a risk we're going to have to take," Hela explained.
