Comforted

You sit in your room laying in the middle of the floor looking at the ceiling. Knocking on the door catches your attention. You swat two razors under the bed and get up to open the door. Ruby burst through hugging you tightly. You grimace as one of the new cuts opens up and bleeds. She noticed immediately.

Ruby: Y/N !!!?

You back away in shame looking off to the side shamefully. She goes to the bathroom and finds a first aid kit and bandages the cuts.

Y/n: I'm sorry...

You notice fresh tears on her face and you bite your lip hard as you squeeze your other fist hard.

Y/n: I'm such an idiot

She gets up and tackle hugs you

Ruby: I heard what happened...

Y/n: I see...

She cuddles up to you. You place and arm around her.

Ruby: I'm sleeping in here tonight

Y/n: that's not...

Ruby: ozpin gave me permission

Y/n: ...ok

Ruby: (y/n)... kiss me...

Y/n: ... ... ... know?

She blushes deeply

Ruby: yes know you idiot *she pouts*

Y/n: ok

You sit up your face inches from hers. She closes her eyes and begins to lean in. You lean in to meet her closing your eyes as your lips lock together.  It was light at first. Soon you both kiss deeply and passionately. You unknowingly pin her to the bed you hovering above her. You look at her as she pants lightly. You will yourself back into sitting next to her.

Y/n: this isn't the right time

Ruby: why?

Y/n: I don't want my emotional state to be the cause

Ruby: ...ok... maybe sometime in the future

Y/n: i promise

She hugs you pulling back down to the bed cuddling up to you.

Y/n: I'll allow this however

Ruby: *chuckles lightly* of course you do

Y/n: it's only morning you know?

Ruby: and?

Y/n: I get your point

You both cuddle together till lunch time before going to the dinning hall to eat.
