Down the street the Pemakan shepherds discusses how to proceed that evening. They controlled the masses and determines who goes to the slaughterhouse in the outskirts of the city.
"Our rotation herd is on the third house down this street, fellows." One shepherd said.
"Let's make it quick tonight. I have a date with my mate I cannot delay." Finishing the sentence with a slight smile on his face.
"At least someone is getting something out of this despicable job."
"What are you implying?"
"All I can say is that I don't like to mix work with pleasure, that is."
In a nearby alley a group of boys are up to something.
"Light it up Trevor, they're coming."
"I'm trying, this shitty lighter isn't working Jacob!"
"Give it to me you moron, let me do it."
Jacob lit up the Molotov cocktail and threw it at the Pemakan shepherds.
"Stupid primitive animals! You go to the other side, let us clinch them to the wall." The shepherd said.
The shepherds ran over the boys with extreme speed, hitting them with the stun baton, the boys fell to the ground unconscious and their bodies taken to the adapted transport vehicle.
"If these stupid humans didn't learn by now that flame heat can't harm us, they'll never do."
Braden and Gina saw everything in terror through the window curtains, Jacob and Trevor are their neighbor's children.
"Stay quiet! They can turn on us the same way they did with the boys on the street," said to Gina, "They're gone! There is nothing we can do about it."
"This is no life! They took our neighbors today, tomorrow who knows." Gina said.
