Humanity history log: Animal cloning thrived and so slavery reemerged to provide the new economy workforce in perilous environments or serve as food for the Pemakan. Public interest justified it, but a small group of people known as Naturals demanded full stop of this practice, alleging that they were harming human beings, it doesn't matter how they came into existence. The Pemakan colonists reproduce at a higher rate than in its home world. It demanded astronomical amounts of human meat, the Earth Pemakan's government increased shepherd operations and encouraged private hunting for personal consumption. As a result, the human population decreased in alarming rates making it hard to get protein for the Pemakan families, regional councils and their local leaderships demanded an immediate solution.
"Each day is becoming harder to find humans to hunt in our city, they're learning our preying tactics and are avoiding our drones." One colonist leader said.
"There's no reason to panic. We already have a way to solve this problem: construction of artificial human breeding factories, in every major city, is underway. The first one, in Washington, D.C. is almost ready to mass produce and distribute human meat for the whole state." Pemakan council chieftain said.
"So, we'll eat artificial food?"
"No! This will be the best meat Earth can provide, they're clones made of the finest genome stock. No diseases or parasites will plague the production." The chieftain said.
In less than two years, cloning factories replenish the market of fresh human meat, the results have overcame the initial estimates of production, and thus, the Pemakan used human clones in forced labor or for recreational uses.
